IMPORTANT: If you wake up in the same room with a bat, call us immediately. You may have been bitten in your sleep and the bat needs to be tested for rabies. Bat bites can easily go unnoticed and looking for bites on your skin may not be entirely reliable. Bite wounds from a bat appear as a very small scratch less than a millimeter long.
IMPORTANT: Since the females breed year-round and have 5-10 litters each year, consisting of 5 or 6 offspring each, house mice are notorious for taking over a property very quickly. It is vital that you keep mouse population in your home under control at all times. There are other types of mice that occupy homes, but in Massachusetts, the house mouse is the most common.
IMPORTANT: Squirrels are wild animals and can carry the life-threatening disease rabies. In order to avoid significant risk to you, your family, and your pets keep a great distance away from any squirrels that have entered your home. Squirrels have certainly been known to fall down chimneys and get stuck in fireplaces all over Massachusetts, Rhode Island and other New England states.

I just used Gary this past October, 2016, to take care of rodents in our house. I did not know we had bats, but when we had insulation put in the attic this summer, the workers pointed out a pile of droppings. Gary was prompt when he came to give us a quote, and when I showed him the droppings in the attic, he said they were bat droppings. BUT - the good news - no signs of squirrels.

We hired him, and he came back at the date and time agreed upon. He plugged up all the holes and also made sure the bats could get out and not get back in. I am very happy with the service, as I did not just want traps set and then emptied 4x/year (which is a service my mom has on the Cape), I wanted the holes plugged up and the rodents unable to get in. I am very happy - before he did the work, I could hear mice running in the walls. Now I hear nothing. It is awesome. Highly recommend.

Gary is excellent. We have an old Victorian home that had a good sized bat colony, with plenty of holes/crevices for them to get in it. We would have as many as 15 bats annually since we moved into our home! Gary came with a helper and spent the day sealing up every hole and putting one-way doors in. The summer of 2015 is wrapping up, and I can't believe that we have had NO bats all season.

I gave him a follow up phone call recently (per his request) and he came back to remove the one-way doors and seal them all up permanently (which honored his contract). He even told us to seal up one of our screens during the follow up. Gary really cares about solving your problem, making him a great contractor. Unlike Exterminators, he understands how animals/critters behave and knows how to keep them out of your home in a safe and benevolent manner. I never write reviews, but I had to recommend him. If you have an issue with animals give him a try. It will be worth it.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the work that Gary did for us. An animal (raccoon) had gotten into our chimney, which is a somewhat stressful event and prompted our call to Gary. He was very knowledgeable, professional and kind; we immediately felt at ease. Gary took care of the situation and placed a cap on our chimney. He was also very honest, considerate and quite reasonably priced.

In addition, Gary was prompt and efficient. My wife and I highly recommend Gary to anyone with any type of wildlife problem. Sincerely, Alan N. (P.S. Gary did not ask me to write this review; it was entirely my idea).
