Alexander Exterminating

We have utilized Alexander Exterminating for our home since moving to North Carolina 2-3 years ago. We subscribe to the quarterly service and I have no complaints whatsoever. In the beginning the servicemen were very informative and educated myself and my husband about NC's insects and what to expect since we're from the northern states. They provide service with products that are safe for our indoor animals.

We've had 2-3 different servicemen and they've all been very respectful and polite and I have no problem with them coming into my home. I love the online payment option, and anytime I've had to call the office I've either gotten someone to pickup right away or responded to my voicemail promptly. Our HOA used Alexander for termite inspection and I was very pleased with the inspector this year. He was thorough and let the homeowner know when he found a problem ( leaking lines under the house). I was not satisified withe the inspector last year since he was here such a short time, no way he could have gotten under 41 unites to inspect. I would definitely recommend this company.

We've used them for 2 years now. When we fist moved into our apartment 60 days in we started to see roaches. Called them right away. They came. After moving stove we seen that the wall was cut to fit electric wiring but never sealed off. Roaches were crawling in and out of the wall. They inspected rest of the home and found it was only there. Gave us a treatment plan. Took about 8 days until there was nothing left but dead roaches.

Have used them every quarter since. Also used them for ants this summer to spray outside and never have had issues since. Sadly, I think people fail to realize the shotty construction aspect when you live in apartments and townhomes. It's always a nightmare. Never had issues like this before. Thankful for Alexander Exterminating. My only critique would be a contactless plan during the coronavirus pandemic to make things much smoother since most professionals don't have access to good N95s. However, the two times we've used them techs were wearing masks sometimes 2 masks just to be cautious. Techs are friendly and some are even local which is nice. So they know.

An older, well-established, family-run exterminating company. They do exactly what you need them to do, with integrity and very reasonably priced.

RUN AS FAST AND FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. we have used them for years on various rental properties I spoke highly of them until they flat out lied to try to sell multiple treatments for a non-existent bedbug infestation. I get business might be slow during a pandemic less people traveling, but flat out selling treatments for problems that do not exist.like I said RUN!

I had an appointment after a tenant moved out and they canceled so the only time they could reschedule I could not be there. They reported back during their bedbug inspections the whole house was so infested it would need multiple treatments and that they were in every single room. They even advised the carpet to be ripped out after the first treatment.what a nightmare!

Good thing it was suggested to go with a trained expert of another company and so I did there was no evidence two days later of any bedbugs ever being in that house. Interesting, if the infestation was so bad I would have to ripe out the carpet, yet here we are with no signs of ever having any bugs. The only bugs found were small household ants and a few house spiders.

They either lied or they do not know an ant from a bedbug! I can not believe I was about to spend hundreds of dollars on treatments, lost rent, ripping out carpet, because they wanted to make money! When I requested pictures, they laughed and said "for $35 inspection we don't take pictures." Well good thing we had another company come inspect with me there to watch to find some small ants and spiders! Do not walk away from them, run far away before they take your money!

I was very impressed with this company! Jason was very informative and courteous. Price was reasonable and is guaranteed for 10 years as long as you pay your maintenance fee.

We've used Alexander Exterminating for years! They are genuinely the best out there. We love Kenny - he is always so friendly and goes into detail about any questions we ask. They are also very reasonably priced. Couldn't ask for a better exterminating company to work with!

Great to terrible. That's what happened to me. I used Alexander for over a year and never had any problems. If I needed a tech to come back to my house because a spray was incomplete, they would come with no problem. However, I decided to end my service with them after one of their techs moved out of state. I called in to make sure I didn't owe any more money and was told I didn't.

I said great. This was in July or August (the original service was in June of 2018). Things got terrible today when I received a call saying I owed $65 and it would be sent to collections if not paid. I explained that I was told I didn't owe any money when I called before and was not only ignored, but talked over. I actually felt like I was being bullied by these people.

I asked to speak to a manager and was told I was talking to her. When the conversation (which should be described as contentious) continued, another woman got on the phone. I got upset set and asked "what the hell are y'all talking about?" I was yelled at, ignored, and told my matter would be sent to collections. I even asked for the bill to be mailed to me (NONE OF WHICH I RECEIVED) and was told I would only receive it by email or through the collector.

When I receive the bill from collections, I will pay it. However, know this: I won't ever do business with Alexander Exterminating again. This experience really bothered me. I thought about reporting this to the AG of North Carolina and may do that later. Happy Thanksgiving.

We have used this company for 23 years. Impeccable service, knowledgeable about the bugs we had at our home. And I must say the owner Vinnie was a perfect gentleman, and perfect businessman. Thank you for your wonderful service

Great people are running this company whose only job is to serve others! We love them!

I had a year contract with this company and did not have any problems. However, once my contract ended, the company took it upon themselves to come and spray my house (with no one home mind you) and then leave a bill inside my front door. When my husband called to confront them about this, they told him that if a contract is not cancelled, it auto-renews.

I'm not sure what kind of BOGUS practice this is, but to me, it's a SCAM. I will definitely be calling a more HONEST company in the future and suggest everyone else to do the same.

Have used Alexander for termite a contract and quarterly pest control for years as my parents did. Always been satisfied with their people and service. Their techs have gone the extra mile to get rid of those pesky little ants in the kitchen on several occasions (they were nesting in a tree in the front yard and making a trail to the kitchen 50ft away!). I would never consider anyone else.

Long story short - it was difficult to schedule a day that worked for both of us, even though I called several days in advance, the inspection was not completed on the day agreed upon [they say the inspector tried to call me, I never received any call] and caused me needless frustration because I was scrambling to meet a due diligence deadline. Luckily I found a different company that was able to do the inspection on the day I called them, and for free. I will never use Alexander Exterminating again and I suggest you don't either. They issued me a refund after I requested one.
