My husband and I had a really great time with Rizza! She shoots the most beautiful pictures from us when we were at San Diego. It was our first time having our photos taken, she helped us with everything, from the poses to the photos and even brought a tent for us to change clothes. Rizza thank you so so so much for that wonderful afternoon!

Thank you Rizza for our beautiful family photos! I found AlohaBug Photography through Groupon and had a very positive experience. Rizza was very prompt in responding to e-mails to establish a date for our family photo shoot and answering our questions to prepare. She even corresponded with me while she was away on vacation! She offered unique locations within Balboa Park to photograph us.
I appreciated her patience with our wardrobe changes, capturing the attention of our seven month old son and, being mindful of our photo wish-list for the session. I was happy with our finished images and cannot wait to share them with our family and friends. Most importantly, I will always have a lasting memory of family in 2016. Thanks Rizza!

Rizza did our family portraits this year and they turned out really great! We have a 17 months old baby, so we scheduled the 1.5 hrs session with her, but asked if we could do it in just 1 hour. She was very accommodating, and the whole session was very smooth. She was there on time, and had great suggestions. We will use her again next year for the birthday pictures!

Let me just say that Rizza is the best! My fiance and I recently did an engagement photo session with AlohaBug Photography and we couldn't be happier with the experience and the results. As a person, she is very approachable and light-hearted and she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She took into account our ideas for poses and backdrop while also giving her professional opinion on how to make our photos exactly what we wanted. My husband and I booked a 30 min session on Coronado Beach with Rizza and she was wonderful. Prior to the session I had multiple email exchanges with Rizza, she always responded in a timely manner. I sent her ideas of a few shots we were interested in taking prior to our session. On the day of the session she met us early and was ready to get started.
She ensured we picked the best spot on the beach to capture the amazing lighting as the sun was beginning to set. She started with all the ideas we sent and then included some of her own. Everything went great and she was so much fun to work with. She even made sure our dog was enjoying herself and looking at the camera for all the pictures. We received our images in a little over a week. Not bad with the Thanksgiving holiday included in there. We love them all. The lighting is amazing and all the photos are great. We would highly recommend Rizza!

My fiancee booked a 90 minute session for engagement pictures with Alohabug. The shoot took place in Balboa Park on a weekday and Rizza showed up right on time with a camera and ladder. Neither of us have done a photo shoot before so Rizza was super helpful in helping us pose for photos; head tilts, where to put my hands, how to hold each other, etc.
Her experience was invaluable to the session. Everything was kept light and fun, so much so the 90 minutes zipped right by. Based on her guidance, our photos turned out great and there was a wide range of poses and angles to choose from. A lot of poses I wasn't sure about while taking them actually turned out to be some of our favorites. Overall we enjoyed the experience so much we asked her to shoot our wedding, but unfortunately she was already booked for the date.

I found AlohaBug through a Groupon sale. Before I purchased the Groupon I emailed them asking about including our family pet in our picture. Rizza responded very quickly and provided multiple availabilities for our photo session at three different locations around San Diego. Balboa Park, Old Town, and Coronado. I was really pleased that unlike other photographers that offer a 1 hr session, she provided a mini 30-minute session.
This was a PERFECTLY short session to hold our kids' and dog's attention just long enough for some great shots. Rizza did a great job with our Coronado Beach annual photo. She worked miracles with the natural lighting. We hope to take advantage of her other venues for photo sessions in the upcoming years bc she's really mellow and easy to work with pets, kids, wind, sun, and even other groups being photographed nearby. Great job AlohaBug!

I would like to thank AlohaBug Photography for taking care of everything for me. From making me calm as I was so nervous on my wedding day (which she didn't have to but I so appreciate it) and for taking the most awesome, and creative photos of my wedding! My husband and I were thrilled when we received our photos and we will surely treasure these for a lifetime.
The quality and the sharpness of the photos were unbelievable. Her style is just as exactly as she told us it would be - fun, photojournalistic, and modern. Although that is truly how her images are on her portfolio website, we also wanted to have some posed shots where we are looking directly at the camera but not too posed. We did not want to look too stiff in our wedding photos.
She was able to direct us and made us feel comfortable in our couple shots. She took the best candid shots at the reception and the speeches. I can't tell you enough, we are just so happy to go back to our wedding photos every now and then, and remember the details of our wedding and how it really went.
