Extremely informative folk. We moved to Sonora from So Cal four months ago. We gleefully transitioned from suburbia to 3 acres in the foothills. We're loving the view, the space, and the quiet. But our list of home-owner questions grew faster than we could find answers. Enter Chris and Bob from Anchor Pest Control. They walked the outside of the house with us; taught us how to spot where vermin where making entry, explained how to plug the holes, educated us on traps, and much more.
Then we turned to weed control. Again, they gave us a ton of info. We really appreciated that they were intent on providing us with info we needed to manage the property, not on selling their service. We were clear early on in the discussion that we weren't ready to "call Uncle" and spray our 3 acres with glyphosate (Round Up) yet. We ruefully admitted we were going to try and handle it manually for a year and see how well we did.
Which meant we wouldn't be signing up for service right now. They were totally OK with that. Chris said their focus was on informing and helping. Which is exactly what they did. We are so glad we called Anchor Pest Control. We know who to call if/when the ants get out of control, or we can't keep up with the weeds.

I found Anchor Pest Control a year ago because of their great yelp reviews, and they are just as fantastic as the others have said. They are professional, reliable, and very knowledgeable about what they do. I appreciate TJ's willingness to take the time to listen, explain what he's doing and how that's going to take care of the problem.
I feel like we pretty much have every pest known to man and TJ is on top of it. Also, we recently had an ant issue. I called around 1pm, TJ was at my house by 3pm. Ants were gone that afternoon.

Anchor Pest Control has been our service provider for well over 5 years. They are locally owned and provide excellent customer service. Their technicians are professional and courteous and a pleasure to work with. They are also active in giving back to our community which is important to our family!

Ants, ants and more ants invaded the house and we called Anchor Pest Control and they responded to our message very quickly. 'TJ" called and stopped by and did a walk around and found the two ant colonies and after knocking down our cobwebs treated the exterior of the house and inside under our sink and found a trail of ants coming in from the garage and sprayed those area's also.
In addition he baited and left two traps in case we had any residual ants milling around. "TJ" was very knowledgable and explained the steps he was going to do to help stop the ant infestation and was very courteous and helpful. In addition if we had any issues after 3-4 days to call back and either he or someone would come back out. So far very pleased and the ants are no more. In addition the office personnel were very helpful.

We love TJ! We've been using Anchor Pest for about a year now and we absolutely love TJ. He is responsive, attentive, sympathetic (I have a serious fear of spiders), and just all around awesome. We just purchased another home and he was the first call I made to make sure any spiders were dead and gone. I would recommend Anchor Pest and TJ to anyone!

I have a 40 acre Ranch in Sonora Ca I have needs for all kind of services relating to Pest Control. From gophers, moles, voles, bats, ants and more. I found Anchor Pest Control to be reliable, very helpful in taking care of our needs. I call the company often to get advise on different pests. They are happy to help and have never billed for non-contracted services. The service techs are professional and friendly. I would not hesitate to refer them to friends, neighbors or new clients.
