What an excellent pest control company! They are worth every penny! I had a major rodent issue inside the crawl spaces of my townhouse. The issue was so bad that the rodents ate through the roof, the installation, and the air conditioning ducts. After contacting the property management company about the exterior, and calling other pest control companies to handle the interior, and getting absolutely no where fast, I called Critter Control.

They came highly recommended by two other homeowners in my development. Anyway, Daniel with Critter Control came to my home the next day to assess the damage. He was extremely through. The next day he returned with a contract. The price was the same as what my neighbors paid within the past two years; so, I was not shocked. Now, Critter Control is NOT cheap!

They are expensive; but, "if pay peanuts, you get monkeys." Every three days a tech came to check the traps. He always came on time, and at a time convenient to me. After one week had past, Critter Control tech came to my home to blow in installation, the "existing" had been eaten away. While the techs where working both Daniel and his boss, Jose', came to my home to check on the work being done, and to insure that I was fine with work being done.

As I rarely experience such professionalism in Florida, I was blown away. They have rid me of my rodent issue, once and more all! Thank you Critter Control. You are the best!

Spent thousands to seal up our roof. The guys who did it seemed professional - no complaints. They put up traps before sealing the attic. The company promised to come by and check our traps before and after sealing the attic. My wife called a week after they sealed the attic and asked for some one to come check the traps as she heard a trap go off.

The coma My rep said there was no need to check the traps they put up so soon. Fast forward a few weeks and I just pulled a maggot infested rat from our attic while trying to get Christmas decorations down. Merry Christmas from critter control! The company was apparently bought recently and they clearly are struggling. Update: the company provided a refund of their pest removal fee after being contacted today To me that's a good sign they care about their customer's satisfaction. I sincerely they get back to their previous service levels. We need quality pest control in south Florida.

I have called this company twice now to remove a squirrel from my attic. The first time I was promised a call from Brandon within an hour. This was on Wed the 27th of October. I called back Nov 1st, yesterday, because I never heard from Brandon. I stated my issue calmly and without anger. I was promised the issue would be escalated to the manager and someone would be getting back to me.

It is now over 24 hours later and I still have had NO response/no phone call/no voice mail. This is inexcusable and I cannot believe this company had such a high rating with the way they treat their potential customers. Needless to say, I won't be using them for my current situation or any situation in the future. I am far from a Karen, but if you want my money as a customer then you better at least respond. I've been fairly patient considering.

My recommendation to everyone reading these reviews: STAY AWAY unless you want to waste your time and let whatever critter you're trying to remove continue to remain in your home and destroying whatever they are. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Jaydon was an exceptional technician. He was actually able to find the tiny bat in our large unfinished basement, which is no easy feat. We were very happy with his service, and the excellent communication & coordination by Colleen to get Jaydon out to us the same day we called.

They won't answer you and they will charge you 400 to pick up a rat to throw it away. They rarely show up. Made my infestation way worse. Orkin is far better and far more responsive and a better value for your dollar! My home is now ruined because they have not gotten back to me.

I called Critter Control for help removing squirrels from my attic. They were very helpful and professional. They blocked all entry points to the attic with sheet metal that nothing can get through. If you have an issue with animals, this company is a one stop shop with the most knowledgeable and skilled technicians and amazing service. Josh came out and did our original assessment and found not only squirrels that we knew about, but also brought to our attention the skunk living under out shed. He was very detailed and knew more about the animals and ways to solve them coming into our home than ANY OTHER PLACE we have used in years previous.

He explained in detail exactly what was happening and what could happen, then offered a wealth of knowledge and options we understood to solve our problem. He was funny and cares about customer service (a lost art) but also about a solution for us. I have never seen someone be so comfortable on a steep and slippery roof either. We will definitely recommend Critter Control and the service from Colleen, Josh, and The other office lady they have are second to none.

I am certain that a good portion of the reviews less than 5 stars are from Critter Gitter which IS NOT Critter Control people so trust me when I say these are the professionals and we've tried them all. -Judy W

My husband hired Critter Gitter for $300 this summer and once a week they would come out to check the traps they set in our front yard, after not catching any moles, that were destroying our front yard, the mole had moved to our back yard. So my hubby set one of our "own" traps that we bought in our backyard & the next day Critter Gitter comes by with a different employee (male) then the original female who had been coming by previously & the new guy decides to go into our backyard without our permission and removes our personal trap that caught the mole and charged us $300 to do that. This is TERRIBLE & UNETHICAL business practices, extremely disappointed and disturbed by how they operate thier business, would not recommend this company.

I needed a lot of work done before selling a house. Critter control was responsive, communicative, prompt, professional, and trustworthy. I would definitely use them again. The absolute worst. The initial execution was fine, but in the process of closing some gaps in the joins on my roof (to limit access to the attic) they created a roof leak. Not the end of the world, but now they wont return calls, wont show up to look at it, nothing. I have already had a roofer fix the roof and the ceiling inside. I can not imagine worse service and now I have to go after them over something we could have fixed with a few bucks and a handshake. NEVER USE THESE GUYS!

I hired this company to remove squirrels from my attic and raccoons from my crawlspace. It took about 3 weeks for them to start on the squirrel problem. The set 1 trap, checked it a few times and quit. They did not trap any animals. No word from them, no returned phone calls, NOTHING. I paid a $500 down payment on their services. 6 months later they acknowledged they had problems completing work for many clients and asked if I wanted them to complete the work or get a refund. I chose the refund. In the ultimate FU they sent a check for $1. WORST COMPANY EVER!

I have been using critter control since Irma a little over 3 years ago. After Irma, I ended up with a rat problem and these guys were great. I have had a regular maintenance service with them ever since for rats and insects and have been very pleased with their service until recently. They were very good about notifying me when they would come to service the rat traps, then I would get an email summary of what they did, an invoice and a receipt.

The last 4 or 5 months no, invoice, no receipt, and no summary of what they did when they were here. I even got a notice that I was 2 months behind on payment when I never even received a bill. I have tried calling to find out why I dont get an invoice or receipt with no luck. I want to like these guys but the customer service has deteriorated significantly.

Called CC for a squirrel problem in my home. Larry came out to take a look and although he was professional, on time and friendly, he didn't get up on a ladder despite me knowing the general area of the problem and wanted to sell me a whole plan to "protect" my house. He seemed less interested in my current squirrel problem and was more interested in up-selling me for a service I didn't need which was quite expensive. Had another company come out today to look - within minutes they were on a ladder and easily found a hole where squirrels were using to come and go. No up-selling, were affordably priced, live traps set and a plan in place to take care of my problem. Wouldn't recommend critter control.

The guys working on my pest control issue were great. I spent thousands with the company. And they were very responsive. With that said. I am still catching rodents and all my checks have been cashed. The company line is they can not guarantee a complete eradication if there are adjoining buildings.

Everyone we talked to or worked with were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Our attic had become a home for squirrels and now there is peace and quiet. Critter Control came out to analyze the situation, took pictures, spent time talking with us and gave us a quote. They were thorough in setting up and checking out activity, getting rid of the offenders and sealing up the entry points. We are so happy with their work!

Absolutely surpassed my expectations. Where has this company been all my life? Fastened down screens, spackled holes, filled in gaps, battened down openings that'd been loose for 30 years; fixed soffits; trapped critters; even drilled down molding. My house's dream-come-true! Totally alleviated problem--and then some! I literally do not have the words to do this guy justice. Absolutely awesome!

I called Critter Control when I discovered squirrels in my attic. The field team quickly responded, identifying where the squirrels were getting into the house and setting up traps. They monitored the traps daily keeping me apprised of the status and within a few days my attic was clear of animals. They temporarily sealed off the entry points until the repair team could come on-site and make the permanent repairs. Everyone that worked on my project was courteous and a true professional. I will definitely call Critter Control again!

Quite interesting how there are more complaints on Yelp, but not as many on Google. I wonder if it's rigged with fake accounts on there. Anyways, what are you guys doing to fix your mistakes? Please provide specific examples. Like after someone pays you over $1000 and you end up causing water damage to their house like you did for one of the Yelp reviewers, do you guys come back to repair the damages and actually take care of the pests for FREE?

Or do you end up charging them more? I see your responses to the customers to have them contact you guys back. If any of them did, please be honest and tell us publicly of some instances of what you would actually do to redeem yourselves in those situations. In one of the Yelp reviews, someone said you guys responded quickly. However, that was not MY case.

I called one day in the morning about a rat in my bathroom and needed assistance. The lady from Critter Control told me on the phone she wasn't able to tell me how much it would be at first. For some reason, she said she needed to ask her manager about that, which I didn't understand because it sounded like it's something you guys aren't familiar with. However, she got back to me and told me that for just the inspection alone was going to be $229 (as if that manager just came up with a random number), and if there was a rat capture, it would be $69 per removal.

She said she would contact someone to get back to me, BUT I didn't get called back until the NEXT day. Well, guess what? The rat in my bathroom I informed you guys about had time to run off and hide somewhere else. In the same day I had called, I tried to leave my front door opened for the rat to leave since the bathroom is about 5 feet away, and I attempted to block off a pathway to the door. However, I ended up needing to go somewhere and closed my door thinking that rat could have left by then (about 5-6 hours after I initially called Critter Control, btw).

About 30 minutes after I had left, my security cameras notified me that they captured the rat just scurrying around my damn place. By the time I got back home another 6 hours later, it disappeared somewhere and just roaming around my attic. The next day, a guy named Jon/John from Critter Control left a voicemail, and I got back to him around 5:00 after I was done with work.

He couldn't help that day because he said he stops working at 4:00. He couldn't come the next day either because I get done with work when he's already done. Basically, I needed to wait until the weekend, which just meant more days for the rat to potentially cause more problems, chances to reproduce, chances to bring in lice, etc. As more days kept going by, I just thinking these guys aren't as accommodating that some reviewers are making them out to be. Now I just keep getting voicemail from that guy to call him back. Yay.

We had rats and lots of them I don't know when it started, but it sucked called critter control. The guys came out right away wasn't cheap, but they got the job done climbed in the attic which is small put down traps and started to catch the rats. Once the we're gone the next group came out and sealed up the house using cement. The technician spoke to me on the phone while I was working in the Middle East and explained to me what was going on.

They used a fog to blow thru the house to look for openings and closed everything up also sprayed something in the attic to kill the germs from the rodents droppings. It must have worked because we haven't seen or heard anything in the walls or ceilings since.

We are getting a new roof and suddenly we had a rodent problem in the garage, attic and house which we have never in 24 years experienced. We had a RAT in the pantry which of course freaked us out. I emailed Critter Control in the middle of the night and first thing in the morning I was speaking with them and they sent a specialist out by 1:00pm that same day. Starting with the woman that I spoke to I had a good feeling about the company. Eddie, the Specialist called to let me know when he could make it.

He was so professional and conducted a thorough inspection inside and outside the house. He took pictures and showed us all the entry points the exposed roof had created. He gave us an estimate for the immediate extermination and to repair and correct the entry points. That day we hired Critter Control. Eddie set traps in the pantry and attic the same day. Cameron then took over and is coming 3 days a week to check the traps.

He explained everything to us on rodent behavior and we don't even have to look at the traps if we don't want to, and believe me I don't! The results have been great and they have a guarantee for a year! We are sleeping much better at night knowing that the critters are being eliminated and the openings will be sealed tomorrow! We highly recommend this company and the excellent professional that work for them! Kudos to all!

My family would never recommend critter control! We had an issue with animals constantly getting into attic and critter control assured us they could fix the issue! After paying them over $1000 they told us they could not come out more than 3 times as they could NOT fix the issue! They were extremely incompetent! They made a hole in roof where we then had water damage in house and they never rectified the damage as they said they would!

The management could care less and were extremely nasty! We have never had such bad service with a company! I highly recommend using others NOT critter control! They were the absolute worst to deal with!

I had just recently moved in to a home and found we had some ants. Nothing major and not a dramatic amount. I had Critter Control come pricing was decent so I went with them. I ordered a one time service through them which I would expect to at least resolve my problem for a good amount of time. Two weeks later ants are back and Critter Control does not "Stand behind" their one time service.

Instead to subscribe to them was my only other offer. I have looked around various places and they ALL offer at least 30 days free of insects. Would not recommend or be using their services again.

Recently I had, and, still have problems in my attic. Do not recommend this business, very expensive and once they get the payment not helpful. I called the first person that came for the inspection and his answer was"I talk to many people you have to call the office" the girl at the office said she was going to send the Supervisor to the house to check the job done and see if something was missed, however that did not happened instead they sent the Workman that handles placing the traps and picking them up(he was very nice)I'm out $1000 and still have the problem. I work very hard to throw money away like this. Shame on them.

One night I was asleep and was awakened by noises in the ceiling so loud I thought someone was trying to break into the house. The next day I mentioned it to my roommate who replied, "You're just hearing that now? I've been hearing noises on the roof. I think we have a cat living there." I told her I don't think it's a cat, I think it could be raccoons.

It was at that point after doing some research she decided to contact Critter Control. I am so grateful we got Edward "Ed" Ashton. I couldn't imagine having gotten a more experienced, understanding and personable trapper. Ed surveyed the house and laid down the traps. He gave us insights into raccoons and came back every day to check the traps.

I was in constant communication with Ed when we finally saw a baby raccoon and then when we finally trapped the mother (who's babies were old enough at this point to fend for themselves since she was no longer milking). If that's not enough, the kindness and humaness that Ed shows to his customers and the wildlife itself is just commendable. It's not everyday you see someone who truly loves their job and is good at it, but Ed is definitely a wonderful and rare find. I would definitely call him again and recommend requesting him for any Critter problem you may have.

Critter Control is not the pest control company for my apartment complex, but I wish they were. When I had a rat infestion (one, possibly two, rats that left a BIG mess), my complex responded in a professional manner, but it took them three days to catch the rodent! During that time, I was living with the threat of a scrambling animal and its droppings.

Once the maintenance crew fixed the problem, I wasn't convinced, so I called Critter Control. The technician called immediately, scheduled a visit the next day, evaluated the solution and walked the rest of my apartment, looking for other entry points. I appreciated the thoroughness of his visit and the time he took to assure me that the pest wasn't going to get back in.

Since then (February), I've had no issues. I highly recommend Critter Control even if your complex doesn't contract with them. Call for a second opinion, so to speak!

I guess I would have been reluctant to hire Critter Control if I had read the reviews before calling them. Luckily for me, I hadn't. I called CC a couple of weeks ago after hearing scratching in the vent. Setting up the appointment was pretty easy. After that Steve and Andy were awesome. They called to say when they were on the way and showed up on time.

No critter was found, but they did set traps and then came back every other day to check on the traps. Again, setting up the time was easy and the showed on time or early, with calls before hand. Hopefully I won't need CC services again, but if you do need this service, I highly recommend them.

This is not going to be nice but my complex of 7 townhomes has been using critter control now for a few years but just try to schedule inside your home maintenence with the main office or perhaps one of there technicians! Not possible is all I can say, everytime i get excuses why they have not been able to service me but the problem lies within there poor communication service. Example; when they tell you the'll call you right back, don't hold your breath because you will die and then when they do call you 5 hours later its not the person who said would call you back its a technician who leaves you a message with no return phone number.in conclusion i guess there no better or worse then any other pest control company i just expect a little more from the companies i do business with and i don't recommend critter control.!
