Their as-needed service is the best, and IGNACIO LOPEZ is the Inspector I recommend: knowledgeable, fair, helpful, shows you where and if you have a problem. Also tells you if you need service now or in the future. I've never had to tent my home because of an annual inspection and local treatment, as needed. The office staff is responsive, too. Allan B.

I had the pleasure in having Chris help with our bug issues and I can't put into words how grateful I am to have him as our exterminator! He was very professional and attentive( I can be a lot at times). I have never had such a great experience until now and I will continue to recommend this company to ANYBODY that would ask!

Still see roaches occasionally, which expected to some degree. Changing rating 4 to 3 stars because they are not taking care of details other than just applying product. === Not holistic prevention - just spraying product Sure, seasonality is a factor that makes American roaches come in for water/shelter. Food/water/shelter are the main attractants in general.

We do a good job at removing food/water but to be fair, we're not anal to the point that we wipe down every drop of water from the sinks before we go to bed, etc. But we run into holes in the walls and other potential roach entrance areas that need to be addressed that technician does not seek out. Under the raised foundation is a thing for this property but technican said they don't do it because of liability reasons.

The purpose of paying, is to not have to think about it because you can trust their expertise. It's a little cynical but it seems they're only just spraying each time and don't think it's important to address or look at other things -- at least just say "Hey you should fix this hole here" Service Contract for quarterly was $250 initial, $125 for subsequent.

One time only would be $350. In between visits you can call and schedule are free which is good for peace of mind so I think they get good marks for the CS in different dimensions. === How did I come to conclusion: I found a guide from DoMyOwn that seemed very thorough. Multiple people on Reddit and other places indicate they also switched from a service to doing it themselves and they have positive experiences in getting rid of pests. (Conflict of interest, is that they sell professional grade products, but the content of the guide seems to be accurate and thorough). Landlord is paying for it but buying the same materials online literally just is a "knowledge check" and it's cheaper to just buy it yourself and do it.

For me the additional attraction is, if I see something, I can apply in the room/area that I want immediately rather than call and wait days for a scheduled visit. Main office wanted me to talk to the technican to have the product explained to me when I wanted to defer/potentially cancel but that didn't convince that this is worth it. Now I'm buying spray, IGR (insect growth regulator that you mix in with spray), bait.

The entire experience from beginning to end was much easier than expected. Everyone I spoke to by phone was very polite. Ben did the inspection and found things that Orkin did not. He was very thorough. We set an appointment and Patrick came out to resolve the problem. Thanks The Bugman for your professionalism and great prices.

I've been having The Bugman inspect my home for termites, etc., for many years. And they have always impressed me with their cheerful demeanor, prompt responses, timely arrivals. This year I asked them to replace some of the eaves and wood siding on my house that were showing signs of dry rot. This was going to be a two day job and I was a little anxious that some of plants in my garden might get trampled because they were so close to the area that needed to be remove and replace.

I need not have worried. Tony R and Jesse showed up promptly the first morning. Set about their work. Cleaned up at the end of the day. Finished on the afternoon of Day Two. They were friendly, professional, and proficient. The results are so good! I am delighted with their work. And all my tender little plants survived without a blossom out of place.

My first contact was with Eddie the inspector and he was very thorough and showed me all of the possible spots the rodents were getting in. He's really a pleasure to work with. When I decided to do the rodent exclusion, Rudy came and did a great job. I chose to do the trapping myself for the creatures still left inside-humanely-using AB live traps that I found on Amazon.

It takes patience and a few weeks. My personal public service announcement: If you choose to do the kill method, please do not use poison (other animals can ingest and die) and use high quality traps that kill instantly. It's worth paying for the rodent exclusion even though it feels expensive. Trust me. The goal is to prevent rodent infestations in the first place and they can get in anywhere! A few follow-up appointments were required and I've been very satisfied. Their follow-through and customer service is excellent.

You might think twice about having an exterminator come to perform wood repairs due to pest damage.we did. We were absolutely thrilled with the work that Jesse Saldana and his crew did. Tony Rubalcava put in a new door and frame, and Jesse and Rudy replaced main beams, decking, and fascia. They even filled in some areas that weren't necessarily pest related but with extra material and opportunity put in the effort. I can't recommend this crew enough, they worked diligently and expertly for the repairs needed.

We're visiting our daughter in Irvine and happened to be at her house when Isaiah Chairez from The Bugman visited for the annual inspection. Isaiah was courteous, professional and went the extra mile to explain to us what he was doing. We mentioned that we thought we heard scratching in the attic crawl space and he took the initiative to climb up to the second floor, detach the exterior grate, inspect, set traps and then re-secure with new set of screws. Really set our minds at ease. Couldn't ask for more! We use Terminix at our house in Hawaii. I wish we could use The Bugman instead!

The Bugman in 3 words: PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, RESPONSIVE I never expected a pest control company to have great customer service and a work culture where you can tell the employees like their job. When vetting their company I spoke with Nichole and she was VERY knowledgeable about their services and clearly explained how they would approach and provide support with the spider problem we were having.

Their rates were competitive with the other companies and now I just needed to see if they would follow-through on the services they committed to. The answer is YES! Joe Palma was my technician who showed up on time. At first glance I was impressed with how clean his uniform was. For some reason I thought a technicians outfit would be dirty. On my first visit we walked my property and he explained everything to me.

I ask a lot of questions and was impressed with his answers. He has been with his company for 5+ years. That says a lot to me about how they treat their employees. Joe visits us every few months and if I need a service in-between I just call and they show up that week with no extra charge. On a side note, Joe is the NICEST guy! You can go wrong with The Bugman as your pest control provider. Thank you Nichole and Joe for making me feel like a valued customer!

Cody Kadow is the technician that came to my home in regards to problems I was having with mosquitos. He was absolutely wonderful. Cody is knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. The Bugman should be proud to have him.

We have used The Bug Man for many years now and we just had our annual inspection. Art Gonzalez accompanied Narciso Rodriguez this time. We have gotten to know some of the inspectors over the years, but this was Art and Narciso's first visit, their last on a Friday night. But the inspection was as thorough as ever, beginning with the back yard, wooden fence and exterior.

Then inside everywhere with special attention for new signs or reappearance in previous spots known from our history of prior visits. Good work deserves recognition and respect. Thanks Narciso, Art, and The Bug Man.

They act quickly. The inspector Jason is very polite and responsible. He gave me a detailed report about what he found. Just make sure to verify your cellphone number with the representative of the Bugman again in case they cannot contact you.

I have used Bugman for many years, the service is always dependable and I have had no problems. The last couple of years I had some wood damage that had to be repaired and/or replaced. Art Gonzalez and Nathan Harrison were the employees that did the last round and they were fabulous. Very efficient and fast. They cleaned up every day and work was perfect.

I grabbed a little paint and they painted the boards before they put up and they figured out a way to get at the problem areas. Work was fast, employees polite and knowledgeable.couldn't ask for more.

The Bugman supervising carpenter Tony Rubalcava and his team members ( Nathan Harrison and Rudy Gallegos) did a fantastic job replacing termite damaged wood at my Newport Beach home. The second story fascia board work was particularly challenging because there were seamless gutters attached. The work was completed with no gutter damage. Tony was very respectful and very diligent keeping me informed about the scheduling and sequencing of their work projects. The work was completed on time on and the work site was totally clean when they left. I highly recommend this Bugman wood repair team

Codey was the person to attend to my bug issue inside the house. He checked all the areas of concern but couldn't see any problem.then consulted with someone at the office. He then put four trappit card box under the bed. as of today still no sign of any bugs. I appreciate his caring. and he didn't charge me since no specific answer was found! Bug man customer service was great. Friendly and helpful on the phone call to coordinate with. The actual service was fast yet thorough. James was really Friendly and helpful. I was definitely impressed.

The day of the year I wish I could avoid each year just occurred. I had my annual termite inspection. I have a home clad with wood so I am prime property for termites. The good thing is that I have an annual contract with Bugman and for the last 5 years have had termite inspector Ignacio Lopez inspect my home. Ignacio is an experienced, professional termite inspector.

He always thoroughly inspects my entire house and treats any areas where he finds termites and prepares a worksheet on damaged areas that need attention. Ignacio is very personable and remembers all prior work that has been done on my house. Ignacio never is in a rush. He is very methodical and explains damaged areas and what repairs need to be done.

I highly recommend Ignacio for your termite inspection and repair work. Ignacio and Bugman are reliable and take the extra step. If you share my day of "dread", Ignacio can make it a better day!

I'm in the middle of remodeling my bathroom and ran into a cockroach infestation that I was unaware of. I frantically called around trying to get someone out same day and while most places couldnt come for several days, The Bugman was able to get someone out within a couple of hours. Joaquin, who does not cover this route was able to walk me through everything on the phone as well as show up and figure out and solve my problem. He was super nice and considerate as well. Overall, i would recommend The Bugman and specifically Joauqin for their professionalism and prompt service.

I just got my annual Termite Inspection and treatment. My Inspector was the same guy who came out last year., He actually remembered details about the conversation he had with my now deceased husband, that he relayed to me, that brought me up to speed. Talking to Ignacio Lopez was like turning on the Discovery channel or insects are us. I enjoyed the laughs and was glad such knowledge was at my disposal, Thanks again Bugman!

We had a lot of termite and dry rot damage. Before we have the house tented, we decided to replace the bad wood. Our carpenters TONY and JESSE were detail oriented, professional, hard working and did a stellar job. Honestly I couldn't have asked for better craftsmanship. They replaced several long 16 foot boards that were hard to reach, plus quite a few of the shorter cross pieces under the eaves.

They even painted the new wood for me since I had the leftover paint. Our inspector Ben was equally excellent. He explained things thoroughly, brought me bags for the tenting and a very thorough inspection. Thank you gentlemen for doing a truly 5 star job!

Incredible work. Thorough. Sturdy. Pride in their work was evident. Luis and his crew ( Nathan, Oscar, ) knew their stuff. The deck and railings had serious dry rot that extended into the structure of the house. Stucco was opened up and old wood removed, house treated with wood preservative, new wood and extra support installed, stucco repaired (including proper coloring), all wood either treated or stained (redwood), and deck and railings rebuilt. High quality hardware using all screws, not nails. Wow! Highly recommended. Good communication during whole process. Bilingual crew. Thank you Bugman!

The Bugman is an excellent extermination company. My mother in law uses them and now we do also! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The technicians are amazing! Joe P. was our tech at our last 2 homes. He is always on time, friendly and so knowledgeable. He did a great inspection and knew what we needed. You feel like he genuinely cares about what pest issues are going on in your home. I couldn't recommend him enough!

I was very lucky to get the A team Eddie and Luis for our major project. Eddie was professional and didn't leave any detail out during our inspection. He knew what he was talking about and even broke down different options to get the best service. Eddie is able to communicate very effectively and is passionate about providing the best possible experience for his customers. Luis was the second part of our project and completed the craftsman portion.

He definitely has a major with issues with perfection! He was very detailed and proud about his work. I wouldn't be surprised if each nail he hammered has the same distance and angle. His final product was top not notch. The only issue I had was that he had to leave I would let Luis work on my home any day. The Bugman should be proud of Luis and Eddie and how they represent their company.

I will continue to use the Bugman services I even have their pest control. Again no issues with them, if I see any spiders or other insects they are quick to address the prblem

Eddie H with the bugman did a through inspection of our property. He found several areas that needed care. He provided me with a competitive quote so we moved forward with getting the issues resolved. Eddie was very knowledgeable and efficient. He was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him and his services.

Narciso R. Did a great job inspecting inside my house, patio and walkway. Found some termites and needed 3 Panels fixed. Nathan H. Did an excellent job repairing them and making it look like new. Great job guys. They were on time and clean up any messes too! I've been using The Bugman for 8 years and haven't had any problems.

My husband and I have been updating our home over the last couple of years now and decided it was time to inspect for termites after noticing deterioration of our attached pergola in the front courtyard, eaves and a space in our living room. After reaching out to them with our concerns, the bugman quickly scheduled Ben C. to conduct an initial assessment of our property. Ben was very professional, punctual, communicated with me throughout the duration of the inspection, answered all of my questions and gave me very detailed information on next steps to rid and protect our home from termites.

Soon after our initial assessment and decision to move forward, Mario M. was scheduled as our technician to rid our home of both drywood and subterranean termites (gross!). The subterranean damage was extensive and Mario made sure to thoroughly treat all areas of our home as well as answer any remaining questions I had. Both representatives were great and we would be happy to have them treat our property again. We will definitely continue to use the bugman for our pest control needs and recommend them to our friends and family!

So far so good. TONY was the inspector that came out to assess wth was going on and confirmed our suspicions. He explained things, provided options, took pictures to show us what we couldnt see, provided opportunities for questions and made himself available for follow ups. He ensured some clerical things were completed before we signed off on contracts.

Because he was so thorough, we finally decided in going w bugman. ART and DANIEL were our wood repair guys. There was some damage was not on the original contract since it was not visible until they removed the gutter. Art was communicative and fixed it all wout incident. He takes initiative to ensure things were done properly. While removing an old satellite our screen got damaged and he fixed it.

He also made sure that he showed what work was done before they left. Again, explaining what they did and how they did it. We also signed up for the bimonthly pest service. We were w someone before and after being at home due to covid it was apparent they did nothing. This was evident from the massive mounts all over our back yard and what the bugman tech JORGE identified as fire ants.

He explained how he knows they are fire ants vs other pests, explained what needed to be done, and before he left provided tips for keeping them at bay. Its been a couple weeks since he was here but the yard is now useable. Now the last part is tenting. I am hoping it goes smoothly just like the rest of the services rendered.

We got a note saying that Chris came and serviced the exterior of our home by de-webbing the outside. However, my front door area is still covered In webs. 10/10 would not recommend to anyone. EDITED TO ADD: tank you for coming back the next day to finish removing all the webs and nasty bugs.
