I've been a customer with Dixie Exterminators for about 2 years. All was well, they did a great job at controlling the weeds in my front and back yard and the prices were affordable. However, recently (February) after they treated the lawn, I noticed weeds popping up every where. I reached out to my technician a good half dozen times, he promised to come back out, but never made it.

I called the office and left several messages and finally someone called me back. Unfortunately, this is where everything went totally south. I'm not sure if the lady was having a bad day (which I get); but certainly there's never an excuse to be rude with a customer who 1) isn't being rude to you, & 2) who is paying for a service. She first told me she called and left a message (I checked - no message).

She then said, we cancelled your service due to non payment (I had her look at that again - owed Zero Dollars). And although I was a little offended at her statement since the 1 time I forgot to pay was during the time I lost my Father, Brother & good friend (COVID unrelated, but during late 2020, early 2021)! Either way, what does that have to do with me asking you to come back out to service my lawn, after I paid for my bill.

When I asked her doesn't the "contract" say, "we will come back out if you're not satisfied?" She didn't answer that question, but went on to say how, everyone was in training and there's no one available to come out, so do what you gotta do"! Wow! Do what you gotta do? Who says that to a customer? I hung up thinking, no problem ma'am! Certainly if my business is not important enough to your company, well then I guess I should go do what I "gotta" do.

So I did! I found someone else. And the week my new service was supposed to start, why did someone from Dixie show up (who I couldn't recognize on my camera) treated my lawn - cool; but then charge me? Are you kidding me right now? Ah hello! Thank you for coming back out and re-treating my lawn, but I will not be paying for that service. According to your contract, you owed me that one.

And I did exactly what I was told to do, "what I had to do" I had to cancel my service! Who's paying for rudeness in 2022? So I found another company, told my neighbor, and two other folks whom I recently had referred, and encouraged them to cancel their business. Sad for the outcome! But unfortunately, I did what I had to do!

Absolute best business I have ever had come to my house and provide service. Jesse, John, and Justin have been professional, timely and with an incredible sense of urgency that is lacking today. They came out and did an incredible job repairing rodent damage and sealing the house. They found spots that were not obvious during the initial inspections and worked extra to get them done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend their services!

So disappointed with this company! We recently purchased a home that already had an existing wildlife exclusion warranty with this company. Trying to get the warranty transferred to us has been trying to say the least. Terrible customer service, extremely non-responsive and when you do get a hold of someone, RUDE! We have asked them to come out and get rid of rodents and we still do not have a solution. Do not use this company

Greg Bennett is our technician, he's very professional, friendly, courteous, great communications which is very important to me. We've been with Dixie a number of years and Gregg is the main reason I'm not looking for competitive quotes. Overall, we're VERY pleased with services from Dixie. Keep up the great work.

I would highly recommend Dixie to anyone looking for a pest service. The price was very reasonable and their work was fantastic. I had them do an exclusion service around my entire house to keep squirrels out and haven't had a problem since. I also now use Dixie for my bug control, and haven't seen any roaches in the house since the first service. David was my technician and he is very personable, respectful, and informative about what he is doing. Couldn't recommend him and his team enough.

DIXIE is THE BEST! I have been using them for years! The first time was for fleas about 9 years ago. We had carpet and they bombed the house and yard and I have not seen a flea since. About 5 years ago we had rats, bats and mice in the attic. Dixie came out and sealed up all the areas and gutters and down spouts. We have used their quarterly services for bugs at home and our business properties.

Their pricing is reasonable and competitive. Dixie has also taken great care of my elderly parents and have recently worked with them during a difficult time of selling their home. Dixie employees have heart and get that people are human. This may sound sappy but everyone I have ever talked to at Dixie is so kind and understanding.this business is built on integrity and morality. You can trust this company to take care of you and care about what they are doing. Thank you Jody, Danny, Jessie, Brenda and Rex! Heather Dollinger

Kevin has always taken wonderful care of our property and is so flexible with accommodating our schedule. He is always professional and thorough! Gale (from the office) is so personable, kind and I appreciate her calls to follow up. I appreciate the attention they give to our home and us!

Many thanks to Dixie Exterminators for excellent customer service and keeping my home free of pests. Nathan, our technician, is fantastic. He provided same day service which I never expected. He found ant beds and called to update me on how he had treated the area and what to expect. Thank you from a very happy customer. Service: Ant extermination

Difficult to get a hold of, had an appointment today from 8-10 to get rid of cockroaches and they took my payment yesterday right away but of course when no one showed up, they were only available to reach via leaving voicemail messages.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I hired them a year ago to rid my attic of wildlife. They charged me $1k. They set traps but never caught anything. The wildlife is still there and active. They neither trapped or prevented wildlife from getting in. I hear them running around each night. I tried to reach the owner of the company via phone, email and regular mail, but never got a response.

I had used Dixie for termite protection since I bought my house in 2013. The previous owner had used them, so I decided to stay with them. I called about a termite problem in August. Although there was a bait station within 2 feet of a deck column, it was infested with termites. Of course, Dixie told me it was my problem. The only positive thing I can say about them is that they are very good at invoicing you, but you can forget about any customer service. Apparently, the owner just doesn't care.

My experience with Dixie Exterminators was phenomenal! The exterminator Jonathan worked tirelessly to make sure I wasn't stressed about my rodent issue. If you ever have a rodent issue I recommend Jonathan. He's very professional, on time, and gave me wonderful customer service!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! Really I'd like ZERO stars. My entire family used this company for awhile but since have all had to ask them to never come to our properties again. When we first started we asked if they could run our card on the day of service. After awhile they wouldn't run our card. We had to continuously call the office and speak to the office manager Jody Allan to run our payment.

She wouldn't run our payment and wait until we had months of service stack up. We dont have a ton of money so to have them try and make us pay months of service in one payment is difficult on us versus breaking it up. After trying to come up with the large lump sum they tried to charge us interest and put a loan on our property. When finally getting the money I mentioned to Jody that we no longer wanted service because of the billing issues.

I have never met anyone more rude in my life as this lady. She told us that they just couldn't accommodate our billing schedule we needed even though monthly payment is something they offered and agreed to. I dont know what company refuses immediate payment but they apparently cannot accommodate this. Upon asking if they can email and mail a receipt she told me "Ms Evan's we have spent too much time on this you need to pick one." When asking if their system allowed them to do both she responded again with "just pick one" upon asking for further clarification because I would like both she said that she would only do one because she had spent to much time "dealing with me" and she refused to send me one.

My family had the same issues with Ms Jody Allan and has also requested an immediate stop in service. I would suggest never to use them unless that representative is fired or quits.

We've used Dixie Exterminators for the last fourteen years and received excellent service from them during all of that time. Larry went above and beyond in servicing our property and the office staff always answered our calls cheerfully and did everything they could to assist. I can't speak highly enough of them and recommend them without reservation.

My wife and I recently purchased a new home. A few months after our purchase, we received a bill totaling several hundred dollars from Dixie Exterminators for Pest Control Services. However, we NEVER REQUESTED service from Dixie Exterminators. When I called, to let them know of the error, Dixie Exterminators told me this was their billing practice; and that because the previous home owners had used their services, they were sending us a bill to continue the services on the property.

I told them this is predatory billing. (There's a secondary issue of trespassing too, but I'm most concerned about the predatory billing). The ethical thing for Dixie Exterminators to do would have been to contact us and ask us if we'd like to employ their services - NOT SEND US A PREDATORY BILL! And when I called to clear the matter up, they should have apologized for do so, and not defended it.

Please avoid this company at all costs. This company agreed to conduct a wildlife inspection on my house before my closing back in May. After my closing was over-i discovered that it had not been completed. After being told it was a misunderstanding by the seller (another crook) they came out and set a few rat traps. This is literally the only thing that was done.

The guy set a trap inside the crawl space, the attic, and a garage closet. The guy spray foamed an area underneath the siding and added some metal plates to the top and bottom of my crawl space door. $910 for something I could have done on my own? The only thing I am leaving out is the fact that he came out three times to make sure the traps were still empty.

After his third visit, he collected the traps. $910 and I don't even own the traps? Recently, I had to re-screen my foundation vents. Rats or any other vermin could have crawled through the punctured screen. Why wasn't this fixed as part of the initial sealing of entry points? On the voicemail that left, he boasted about sealing all entry points for rats.

The contract (attached below) mentions grey squirrels and rats-which brings me to the reason I am typing this. This past Sunday i was on my computer working on a project and I could hear movement above me. Earlier in the day, I saw a squirrel crawling across my gutter. This promoted me to go outside, hop on my ladder, and inspect the area of the gutter where I saw the squirrel.

My worst fear was realized. I discovered that squirrels had tunneled into my attic. Why wasn't this discovered back in June? Why did I have to discover this if $910 was paid to detect, remove, and seal any entry points for rats and squirrels (per the attached contract). I left a voicemail to Dixie on Sunday and received a call on Monday about the guy coming out today to address my concern.

I was told that the guy would be here between 3p-5p. I left work at 3p so I could be here when the inspection took place. Since this entry point wasn't detected the first time, I was positive that he wouldn't detect it this time. When I arrived to my house at 320p, I had a proposal taped to my garage. I left work early to find out that they want to charge me an additional $410?

Why on earth would I pay money to fix a problem that should have been detected and fixed back in June? This is not a new problem. And the quote didn't even include the removal of squirrels that are currently in the attic. I called the guy immediately and ended up leaving a voicemail. He called back and left me a voicemail, which I will attach if I can.

Several times during the voicemail he mentions that he was paid by the seller to trap and seal all entry points for rats. Not once does he mention squirrels. But the contract says rats and squirrels. When I actually spoke to him over the phone, he stated that he trapped and sealed for rats and squirrels. Why didn't he mention that in the voicemail?

The reality is that he didn't know I had the contract in front of me. He didn't know that I knew what the seller paid for. After I mentioned squirrels and the contact he went on to say that there was no sign of squirrels. He never checked for squirrels. And guess what? He overlooked the entry point that I detected on Sunday today so I was right.

Its gets worst: After talking for 20 minutes, he admits that he knew about the squirrel problem and advised the seller to take care of it. He told me that she told him to worry about sealing all entry points for rats only (which is cheaper). So this means that this man lied to my face after the third visit (there may have been more) when he collected the rat traps.

He told me that there were no signs of wildlife activity. Later on in the conversation, he goes on to tell me that he's a Christian. I highly doubt that this is something Jesus would do. Please avoid this company. He didn't even seal all of the entry points to prevent rats. As mentioned above, I had to change the screen on two of my foundation vents and now the squirrel revelation.

This guy had one job. The reality is that everyone makes mistakes in their job- I certainly do. But trying to charge me to rectify a problem that should have been rectified two months ago is wrong. I will do my best to make sure no else is taken advantage of by this company. Excuse any grammatical errors. It's been a long day and I am in bed (exhausted) typing this. I wanted to post this as soon as possible to help consumers avoid anymore fraudulent practices from this company.

We signed up for a year of Sentricon service and pest exclusion (squirrels, flickers). They did the pest exclusion work, but when we had flickers boring holes in our siding, they charged another $200+! A few weeks after the Sentricon system was installed, they called to set up a monitoring appointment. I reminded them that it had just been installed, and that the monitoring was on a one year cycle.

They admitted to being confused. 11 months went by, and they started spitting out renewal invoices. I called and asked for my one-year monitoring visit, and was told that "our area" was up for monitoring in March, four months after the renewal date. If I didn't renew, I would get no annual monitoring at all. This is a clear breach of the contract of service, and of Dow Chemical's recommendations for the system.

When they removed the bait stations they left a couple, and I learned something about Sentricon: It's very effective at killing grubs and slugs. Keep looking. This company shows signs of falling apart.

I have used Dixie Exterminators for about 20 Years. They are courteous and professional. It is rare; but, if I need Larry to come back between quarterly service calls, it is no problem. I highly recommended Larry and this company to anyone needing pest control service.

This company is horrible! We have asked them to come to our home and address our termite traps and needless to say after several calls, several "we will call you back" comments with no return calls, and a battle with the manager and VP we asked for a refund. Now we have been waiting for the refund for over a week and surprise! We have not received it.

So after another call we were told we will not receive a refund until they got their stations back ( keep in mind they need to come get these stations we can't just send them to them), the only issue with this is no one ever told us the refund was contingent on the return of the stations so we would have been waiting for ever had we not called. So they are coming to get the stations and hopefully we will get our refund and finally get rid of this terrible company. CAUTION go with another company!

This was our first experience with Dixie and we received excellent service from our first contact until the job was completed. Our technician was Russ and I can't say enough positive things about him. Russ was so knowledgeable and explained everything very well. He checked the entire house for entry places and sealed them up, along with catching 5 flying squirrels! Gale and Jody also provided excellent customer service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Dixie is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I hired them for my lawncare. They were in charge of the chemical treatment of my lawn. My zoysia grass is now in the worst condition I have ever seen. I have weeds everywhere, I have many places that are bare and grass is not growing. I had contacted them in July, Sep, and end of October to tell them how unhappy I was.

They reassured me that my lawn would improve. They reinforced how they care about customer service. They kept saying "wait and see how good it will look". My last call to them in October, I told them that if my grass did not improve, I would hire a new company. They said they would send someone right away to kill the weeds. It is now January. I have not seen them, or heard from them. They obviously do not care. My lawn is a mess. It used to be one of the nicest lawns in the neighborhood.

We have just finished our 5th year without seeing one mosquito on in our yard. We owe this to Dixie Exterminators and especially Larry who has made this happen! Prior to Larry arriving on the scene, our grandchildren would leave our house eaten up by mosquitos. My wife demanded that I fix this problem.so I called Dixie. The problem is fixed and we haven't had ONE mosquito bite in 5 years! The monthly service is performed timely and the results are great! Thanks Dixie!
