Critical: Professionalism Called to ask for service. The gentleman answered the phone with a attitude. I still asked if he was accepting clients, as I was trying to explain what type of service we needed he cut me off and asked if I was a homeowner. I responded no. Then he just hung up the phone

Owner was very rude. I called to question what services they were providing for their monthly fee. We have them showing up to our house, spend 1.5 minutes there and leaving. It is all on camera. So I told the owner that I was terminating their service and he instantly hung up. So I called back to see if the call got dropped( just wanted to make sure we didn't owe anything). He instantly hung up on me again. Nice customer service!

Today, I chose to terminate my weed and pest monthly service after 8 years. Paul, the owner of this business lacks a true professional customer service etiquette that quite frankly I'm done with. He can be very rude and speaks down to you when you ask a question about his services. When I recently asked if I could go to an every other month weed and pest service because after 8 years one would think there is plenty of organic compounds around my house for goodness sake, he said sure for the same price that I was paying ($600 a year).

About two months ago my monthly fee went up from $50 to $60 without any notice or call. I would NOT recommend this business. Paul just needs to retire and sell his business to folks that understand true customer service.

I was told I would only need 2 treatments a year & they had treated the yard for the previous tenant. It has been 1 month & all the weeds have grown back. I'm told those are new weeds & I'd have to pay for new treatment. So what was the point? This was a waste of $. I will never utilize this company again.

Wonderful fast service, They took care of us, quite knowledgeable. We had it all, ants, roaches and spiders, life is much better now

Paul, the owner, doesn't work well with customers if they question his service. He gets very short, defensive, and rude. When I questioned his work, he got very upset with me, told me to keep the F***** money, and hung up on me. This is not the way to run a business in my way of thinking!

This man has receive some bad reviews. People need to be patient with him. Here is a semi- retired man and works only mornings. Everytime I've called him I set an appointment and he is there everytime on time. Goes up and beyond to take care of his customers. Even gives discounts. Does a great job, its done well with no complaints. I would reccommend him for all my weed and pest control needs.

I called and left a message at the office. Two hours later he did call back. He somehow knew a lot about me (like where I worked) and this left me feeling uneasy like he was a Facebook stocker or something. He went to the house I needed to be sprayed to give me an estimate. He called me and told me that there is no gate to access the back yard. He then demanded that I give him the garage access code so that he could enter.

I refused to offer this stranger access to my entire house. I simply told him that we could make an appointment to meet so I could be there. He got mad and said this wouldn't work as he doesn't do appointments and proceeded to tell me to find another company. So I will do just that. Creeper.

They always call a few days before arriving to see what problems we are experiencing so they can tailor their service. Very happy.

Very bizarre, pathologic interaction with this "businessman." I called his contact number and left a clear message with my name and number (which I stated TWICE during the message), requesting to please get an estimate for services. I later missed his return call, and the cold voicemail he left was (verbatim), "Yeah you called me about pest control and weed control (cough cough).you left your number really, really fast, so I probably can't help you." CLICK.

Very unprofessional, and also makes no sense because if he could not understand my number, how was he able to call it back? That is NOT how you treat customers, or potential customers. Will definitely NOT use this company, and would warn all others to stay away.

So we are purchasing a home in Cottonwood and have been setting up items. My husband and his family are from Arizona and advised to obtain pest control ASAP to assure there are no bothersome tenants residing with us. I have to say that I emailed twice and finally got a response from Paul. Okay, I understand we all get busy and can overlook this. But then I called and spoke with John wanting to set up service for the week of May 7th as we are closing on May 4th.

I am advised to call back after we close and then they will schedule us for the second week in May. To me, this speaks to lack of value of business. Personally, I would want to schedule out in advance for a client who wanted to have services for pest, weed, and rodent control. Due to the dismissive behavior, the disregard for a new customer's request, and inconvenience of having to return yet another telephone call, I cannot consciously recommend this business.

This has just shown me to manage weed control and potential rodent complications on our own and to have another pest control company come spray. Time to start making more telephone calls.

Rude. After using them for over 10 years, they needed my credit card info updated. I left a message, when they called back, they were laughing on my voicemail, saying they can't help me, and to find someone else. I tried to call back and find out why, when we've been loyal customers, and they hung up on me. Unbelievable. I can see from other posts, I'm not the only one.

Great Company, very responsive and big John took care of our problem 1 day after we called him, a lot of dead bugs around our house. They use only the safest pesticides that do not hurt our dogs, very professional company.

The Company was fast and promp. Their closed on Sat, but still came out to help me with my needs. That is good customer service. I would recommend. A+++++ Service.

I previously had a negative experience with another local pest control company, and it was a breath of fresh air getting in contact with High Desert Pest & Weed! They always called/emailed me right back, came out on schedule, and were pleasant to deal with. I really appreciated that they were able to control the spiders and scorpions by only spraying outside, especially with small children and animals. Also, if it rained within a certain amount of time after spraying, they'd happily come back out.

We have used High Desert Pest & Weed for about 2 years now, and I'm sorry to say we are moving out of state so we had to cancel, but I'm so thankful for all the great service over the years!

I called today with some pest issues. Paul, the owner, answered the phone & was able to squeeze me in today on his schedule. You can't beat that for service. He has some organic pest spray that he used! He will be the only one I call from now on. Excellent service! Thank you Paul!

Paul and High Desert Pest & Weed is fantastic. We purchased a new home in Sedona that had a yard over-run with earwigs. He organically removed the problem bugs with a treatment that was safe for us and our small dog. Highly recommended!

When I moved into my house it has been vacant for a number of months and the weeds were several feet tall. I was new to the state and was amazed at how may bugs and insects there were as well. I called this company and Paul, the owner, answered. He came over the same day and patiently helped me identify the various weeds, plants, and bugs in my yard.

He treated my yard for weeds and pests and continues to do so monthly. My weed and pest problems were quickly solved, and for a very reasonable fee. I am pleased with the service and glad I can concentrate on other things. Dave

I have used High Desert Weed and pest control for almost 6 years now and they are awesome! When I bought my house in Lake Montezuma I thought I'd be able to keep up with the weeds myself because I don't mind a little hard work but my weeds got completely out of control in no time, it was a jungle. I tried to hire someone at that point and they wouldn't even do it because it was too bad.

I called High Desert and they really have been amazing ever since. I haven't had to pull a weed or be embarrassed of my yard! What they do works 100% and I haven't had any problems with bugs either! Thank goodness! Over the years Ive had to call here and there and always have very courteous friendly conversations. Once was over a credit card issue on my end that could have been a bother to them but they were still nice! No ones paying me or making me write this I just love when I find a company with that polite small town feel that still believes in great customer service.

I am new to the area and was surprised that a yard full of rocks could have as many weeds as it did. Not anymore. The owner, Paul, is very attentive and takes care of all weed issues. I called him today to ask about spraying for indoor/outdoor pests and he came right over! Great, friendly service.
