Services
The Invisible Gardener grew up in New York, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Miami, Florida, where he learned to use Organics from his mother, who naturally grew her fruits and vegetables. This exposure to organic gardening techniques laid the foundation for Andy's philosophy. In 1970, after serving two years in the U.S. Navy, he entered the University of Florida in Gainesville.
He will help you discover problems and develop natural solutions to them. Reducing your watering without damaging your plants as well as help you organically with all of your property's nutritional needs. His goal is to help you to know the problems both long term and short term and to help you to achieve a happy healthy environment.

I note that the other reviews are from a while ago, like 5 years. Andy has been doing his thing for a while longer than that, I know because I've lived in Malibu for a long time and have seen his local newspaper blogs for a long time. He has a secret recipe solution in a large tank in his truck and when he applies it (using a pump, a long high pressure hose, and a hose end nozzle, all coming from the truck), good things happen. Plants and grass get greener and it is as though they came back from the dead.

Also although we aren't sure yet about this, a bark beetle type of infection in an evergreen tree in our back yard seems to be getting better. Andy's favorite word it seems, is "soil". His "invisible" treatment is all about fixing the soil to encourage green growth. So far, so good, he is doing wonders for our relatively small yard and gardens. If you want your yard to start looking better, give him a try, I think you will like the result!

Andy knows so much about organic gardening and is so generous with his knowledge. He's the best! I've known him and used his products and advice for 30 years. Read his blog. His products and knowledge and sense of humor are top notch!

I have seen Andy save fruit groves, turn landscapes around from disease and neglect to bounty and lushness. He brings many years of experience and a deep knowledge base to his work and consulting; he is an invaluable resource, with great reserves of know-how and energy.

Andy is the plant whisperer. Some people have a green thumb but the Invisible Gardner is like the jolly green giant. He has one of the most complete integral understandings of how each ecosystem works and can immediately identify the strengths and the weakest links. In reading his books, I have developed, over the years, a deeper more comprehensive relationship with the soil, water, air and the plants. His sense of humor makes learning fun. What ever the challenge you are facing in your garden, the Invisible Gardener has a practical, non-toxic solution.

I have worked with Andy for many years and have never come across a property that he wasn't able to help the property recover (if the owners cooperate). His knowledge in organics is extensive, always updating, researching and the website is Very informative and easy to navigate. His super seaweeds are also excellent. Jeffrey Garovoy
