Kelly Pest Control, Inc. was founded in the spring of 1980 by its first President, Robert E. "Bob" Kelly and Bob's son-in-law, Douglas A. "Doug" Hillensbeck serving as Vice-President. Upon Bob's retirement in 1995, the company was sold to his daughter, Wanda Kelly Hillensbeck, and her husband, Doug Hillensbeck. Also on staff, after she relocated to Louisiana in 2002, is Wanda's sister, Judy Forrest.Currently located in Ascension Parish, Kelly Pest Control, Inc. offers experienced technicians and friendly service for all of your residential or commercial, pest and termite needs.

Native Subterranean Termites and Formosan Subterranean Termites cause billions of dollars in damages to homes across America annually. Unfortunately, the climate being warm, moist and humid in southern Louisiana is very conducive to promoting termites and subsequently, the damage caused by termites.
Our pest control operators are trained to ensure that they are knowledgeable and responsible in handling pesticides. The pesticides that we use are EPA registered and can be used with little or no impact on people, pets or plants if used in accordance with labeled directions. If you have specific medical conditions or sensitivity, ask your pest control operator for the MSDS sheets that contain active ingredients, level of toxicity and information that you can discuss with your doctor.There are some do-it-yourself stores that sell similar products.

Highly recommend Kelly Pest over other local exterminators. I had one previous exterminator fall through, so I gave Kelly a call, and they were here before I knew it. Great people who are professional in performance and customer service, they were able to calm me down in my crisis mode of having biting bugs in my apartment (and after another pest control company didn't keep their commitment), which is no small accomplishment. Importantly, Pam and John are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain the treatments and what they do, why they work, and what to expect. I can't say the same for any other pest control I spoke with or considered. To top it off, they're East Bay locals, and clearly care a lot about our community.

I recently got a new dog and have absolutely no experience in any aspect of dog care, so although I knew fleas came with the package, I was not ready to handle them. John came over to my apartment within 24 hours of calling him and took care of the fleas. Now my pet and my family can sleep peacefully without scratching so much. He shows up when he says he will, on time, and makes sure the problem is taken care of.
The best thing is the fact that he shares what he knows about pest control. Before he left, he left tips on how I could continue to keep my home flea free between visits and made sure to leave his card with the next follow up date written on it. I highly recommend Kelly for his services: knowledgeable, punctual, friendly and completes the job.
