We were refinancing our VA loan and the VA requires a termite inspection that was done within 90 days. Loyal did one in December saying that there were no signs of active termites, although they never gave us any paperwork. So, we had to get another inspection and they found termite wings which are evidence of a swarm. There were no signs of active termites, but Loyal indicated that termite parts met termites were there.

We could not get our loan. So Loyal put in green boxes around the house which are supposed to kill termites and gave us a new report stating that there were no signs of infestation, and the home was treated. Why couldn't they have said no signs of infestation on the first report - because they wanted to sell me a $500 treatment. We have had Loyal for 12 years.

Ever since they were bought out their service has declined. Customer service has declined - they were obstructionists when I was trying to get the December report or get a new report that fairly indicated no active termites - only after spending $500 did they offer any help. Loyal is disloyal in my book.

Made an appointment last Friday. Made arrangements to miss work for appointment. No one showed up or called When I called to find out why, they said someone would call me back and no one called back. Called again on Monday to see if I could get a response, no one has called back. I asked for an email address and I was told that they don't answer emails.

Not even sure what the direct phone number is or the address of the company, Ashland? Richmond? Do they do the work themselves or subcontract it out to individuals? We sure want to give them a try but we definitely need better communication. Hope to hear from them. Follow up: Loyal has contacted our company and we have had a noticeable improvement in communication via email.

The phone answering service still is lacking. We are using Loyal for our pest control needs and continue to see an improvement in their service and response which we appreciate.

I was double billed for services. When I called to question why they stated a "glitch in the system". I was never notified of the error. Office manager said it would have been difficult to notify thousands of customers. When I asked if any they put any protocol in place to notify customers going forward. They stated it would be too difficult to notify thousands of customers. Extremely poor customer service! Time to find another pest service!

I have been with this company over 10 years. They have been a wonderful company until recently. I submitted a payment through my bank online for 6/22/2021. They still haven't received the check. Today, 7/21/2021, I called for a re-service 2 times so far and no return call. Next time I call for this re-service, I will ask for a manager and they will be losing a long time customer. I am very disappointed in what this company is now.

I had a yellow jacket nest right outside my only door in and out of my house. Two men came individually several times to take care of it because my dog and I were being attacked, especially when the mowers were here. i was told several times the problem was solved but they kept coming back. Gretchen from Loyal came out today. She put on her bee suit, pulled out a shovel and dug up the nests!

She sprayed to keep them from returning. Why did the two professionals not dig out the nests? I don't know but I'm so glad I found Gretchen! I highly recommend her!

Made an appointment a month ago for July 8. My tech was supposed to be Debbie. I received an automated call on July 7 confirming my appointment. I took the day off so I could be home and no one called or showed up. I called the office and was told my appointment was on July 9. They moved my appointment and never called me to let me know. I spoke to Tamara and I asked her if I could speak to a manager and she let me know that the manager was busy with someone else and would call me tomorrow.

I'm a first time customer and this is a terrible way to start business. I would never refer them to anyone. My suggestion would be call a different company! I waited a MONTH for a no call no show!

Initially I wasn't happy because I had not received a confirmation email or call on the appointment (was my first service). Likewise, technician got there at the end of the 2 hour window. However, the technician (Chris) was excellent. He was personable and professional- he set me at ease and did a thorough job. I hope Chris will continue to be my service provider.

The gentleman who came to do my annual termite inspection was pleasant yet professional. He actually called before my appointment time to ask if he could come a little early as he had finished the prior job sooner than expected. When he arrived, he was wearing a mask, booties, and, if I'm not mistaken, gloves too. Highly impressed with the care that was taken to keep him and me safe!

UPDATE: phone lines have been down all week but they just posted that on FB Hopefully will get a call soon. I've used Loyal for my termite service for years & was completely satisfied until 2020. In 2020 no inspection (which I understand due to covid), but now in 2021 I've renewed & have been trying for a week to reach someone to schedule an appointment. No phones answered, voicemail prompts go to dead ends, main mailbox is full. No response to email or FB message (a last resort). N

Loyal did a great job on my initial service. They were easy to deal with and responsive via email. Joe, our assigned technician was on time and very professional. He wore a mask, gloves, and boot covers. He explained everything and answered all my questions. If the long-term relationship with Loyal is going to be like this initial service, they've likely got a customer for life. Highly recommended.

I called two different companies to give an estimate to fix my problem. Loyal was a little less costwise, but offered a little extra in treating the property. I gave them the authority to start. They were on time, on budget and gave me a good annual fee to Guarantee the RESULTS. It has been about 4 years and I have not had any issues. I am Very Satisfied with Loyal and would recommend them to everyone.

Loyal is too automated. You chat with a call service. They text you thay someone will be contacting you shortly then days go by. You call them and no one will pick up a damn phone. They keep sending you to some lady named Allie who is never near her phone. Finally you get a call back and the guy does not know if Loyal uses baits or sprays or both for termites. Another red flag. I don't know how places like this stay in business. I called another place and talked with a person immediately.

The team sent out Lorenzo today when I requested help with an early seasonal wasp issue. It was a same day service which I appreciated. Not only was our service tech extremely friendly making me feel comfortable and in great caring hands, he gave us helpful tips right off the bat! He treated our porches and identified several nests we knew had to be down there. The pricing was expected and affordable and I was really impressed with the overall interaction/service from the call in to the office to the service completed and on!

UPDATE: More termites came in, while I watched, through another silicone-sealed-shut-but-now-obviously-chomped-through wooden window. Loyal Termite treatment experts Leon and Tim came to treat my house and shed. Very fair price; SUPER job; SUPER nice. Refused tip. Fixed my loose front porch rail. Cannot praise Loyal enough! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Found three dead winged termites.

Then a floor coated in them! (Okay, maybe 25.) Panic! A friend recommended Loyal Termite. Marcus showed up exactly at the appointed time. How many companies do that these days? He looked at the termite-room and immediately set my mind at ease: "Oh, there aren't that many, and I see no damage." Marcus inspected every room, building, and the perimeters.

He told me that since subterranean termites are the issue here, unless I had tubes up my walls or damage, winged termites--especially when found upstairs--are not usually significant, because they could have flown in. (They even fit through screens.) We agreed I would seal my remaining wooden windows with silicone, keep all windows, new & old, closed and A/C on, and call again if any new termites showed, 'cause THAT would mean my house did have termites. Marcus even educated me on why my back house was built in a way that made it especially vulnerable to termites (I won't bore you).

He recommended I buy on my own termite stakes to protect both it and the main house. They detect presence of termites. There was no charge from Loyal for this visit or thorough professional service. Based upon this positive experience, I would recommend Loyal to my friends.

After my parents received two separate estimates for termites in their home, we called Loyal Termite and Pest Control. Loyal was referred to me by Holiday Termite and Pest Control in Northern Virginia. Much to my surprise and the relief of my parents, Loyal found that they didn't even have termites but had water damage. The first two companies did not even hint at this. They come by every year. They know the house. I have also called to ask questions about bugs I see and they are knowledgeable. I called them once about yellow-jackets. Since they did not have to put on a suit, they treated the nest (after verifying they weren't honey bees) without charging me.

The inspector, Tony was great. However, the woman answering the telephone (Laura) could not be more rude, both when I made the inspection appointment, and again when I called to make the appointment for treatment. She seemed so annoyed to be answering the phone, yelled at the customer when you don't provide the answer the split second after she spoke.

And this is just for making appointments. God knows how Laura will act when you actually have a problem to report. I almost took my business elsewhere. I cannot believe they hire such a rude person to answer the phone!

We have been using Loyal for termite prevention for a few years. This year we had them treat our house for ants. The results were impressive and we also saw no centipedes either after the treatments. Two weeks ago we had Loyal treat our yard for mosquitoes with the caveat that the flower beds not be treated to try not to kill off the bees and butterflies.

While we have seen far fewer mosquitoes, ticks and other biting or stinging Arthropoda, they have bit been completely eliminated. Our desire to keep the bees and butterflies may be the reason. Otherwise, we are pleased with Loyal's services.

Patrick Fitzgerald with Loyal was prompt, polite, and wore booties. It was evident he was experienced in inspecting homes in our area. He was also a good communicator, and provided feedback which was helpful while not trying to sell unneeded services. Likewise, the customer service/scheduler in the office was very pleasant.

I went with Loyal for my bedbug treatment and I have nothing but great things to say about them. From my conversation with the receptionist, to the inspection with Keith, and the treatment with Tom, these people were professionals all the way! Everyone that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helped answer all of my questions. Be sure to ask about heat treatment if you are ever faced with this issue. Money well spent!

There were insects in our porch roof and I was worried they were termites so I had Loyal Termite come out. (they were rated very highly on Angie's List) Tony came out and checked the whole house and crawl space and looked at our porch. No termites or carpenter ants anywhere. (just harmless tiny ants) It would have been so easy for him to say the insects were harming my porch and charge us to treat it but he was honest and charged us nothing to come out. So happy. Thank you Tony! My mind is at ease.

So bad. Gave wrong information in inspection. Don't use them. I saw some holes on my new hardwood floor at the corner of my newly constructed house. My buyer agent Sarah Bice recommended them to me. I called them for inspection. They charge 75 for inspection I told them I am going to pay for the inspection fee. The guy named Tony was very reluctant to come over and see because they know I would talk to the builder and have builder fix it. However, I did tell them I would pay for the fee.

He showed up later than scheduled time and took a brief look at the holes. The he told me it was powder post beetles. God, it completely freaked me out since it is almost a brand new home and I spent more than 10k on the hardwood floor. If it has wood eating pests they are going to ruin my house. I called the builder so many times and they came pretty quickly.

After inspection and testing we found it is nail holes! It's been over 2 years since this happened and I can still remember they way Loyal Termite was talking to me, like I was trying to wasting them time and trying to take advantage of them. I hate this place!

I use Loyal as a prevention and have nothing but good things to say about them. They are professional and very careful with your personal belongings. They take great care to make sure that you as a customer are well informed. If there are ever any issues they are more than happy to come out to take a look. We had a large amount of ants piled up in the yard and they took care of them on the spot. Keep up the good work.

Do not use them for bed bugs! They use chemical pesticides which don't work and just spread the bugs around the house. Find someone who uses cryonite which kills them instantly. Loyal came 4 times and the bugs were still there, then they blamed us and still stuck me with the bill. The guy that I dealt with was rude and accusatory every time I talked to him. I'm an entomologist and he was talking to me like I was a moron who knew nothing about bugs. What a terrible experience! Find someone else!
