For the last 6-7 days, I have seen at least 10 roaches in my home. I have a really hard time even talking about roaches but this review needs to be written. My husband usually handles the immediate pest control (killing or catch and release), but since he works out of state for half the year, I've had to gather up every inch of my strength and handle all 10 of these beasts.
While I was waiting for my current company to call me back after multiple texts and messages over a 7 day period, I realized that I didn't HAVE to wait, so I started my search. Within 5-10 minutes on the app nextdoor, it was clear that Lance with Mayday Pest Control was my guy. I gave him a call at that very moment. In the back of my mind, I knew that the chances were very slim that I would receive same day service.
Same day service was never offered to me in the past with my previous pest control company, so I didn't even know same day service was an option. I always had to wait weeks for help and figured that was the norm. Lance is so incredibly knowledgeable and was very kind, helpful and VERY patient with me on the phone during that first phone call.
I was a total mess, to say the least. I'm pretty sure he could hear the fear in my voice and the urgency of my request. I hadn't slept in 3 days. I'm from California so a spider here and there is just about all I can take. Lance worked a FULL day yesterday and went out of his way to fit me in at the end of the day last night, which was Saturday.
I am so grateful that people like Lance are out there in the world. He let me know he would be starting outside first and then come in for the remaining treatment. Side note: Lance takes extra precautions before entering my home maintaining safety protocols, due to the current pandemic / COVID-19. I am immunocompromised and recently had brain surgery so these are unfortunately things I have to be careful with.
I didn't even have to mention it, he already had it covered. He was so detailed, and told me what he was doing as he went along. Like anyone with a pet, I was concerned about my 3 cats and he assured me that everyone would be safe. I absolutely believed him 100%. He's just that kind of guy. Multiple times during his visit, he reiterated to me that if anything comes up at all, big or small, just shoot him a text and he will handle it promptly.
It is not often you find a business owner that will provide the level of care and personal attention that Lance provides to his clients. He was honest, didn't try to push services that weren't necessary and when I saw my total for everything he had done, including same day service, and added me AFTER his last client of the day. his service was more than reasonably priced. I would have paid 10x as much as I did to finally be able to sleep last night. Best night of sleep in a long time.

Lance is great! He taught us about these little pest and got everything sprayed! We just recently started renting this place but I knew they did not do a professional clean. He got behind the fridge and I almost cried! He took care of it though!. Inside and outside. He is professional and courteous! Great service! Great price! Work is grunted! Definatly recommended!

Thanks to the positive other reviews, I gave Mayday a call for a flea problem after not having success on my own. We did a standard home treatment for all buggies, plus the flea fog, and we got the yard sprayed for fleas as well. It took some time for the fleas to fully subside, though 90% or more were eradicated immediately. Lance came by again and put bug traps around my home, and since then we haven't found ONE.
No fleas, no roaches, nada, zippo. The way Lance treated me when I called him after the initial treatment "hadn't quite nixed it" was respectful and professional. Another treatment wasn't necessary after all, but the fact he listened to me and came back out "just to be sure" gives me the confidence to brag about him and his business. I think his prices are fair based on what he offers and will use him again if we need it.

My landlord called Lance as we have been having a problem with roaches in the house we are renting. Even though we are all the way in Erwin, Lance still took the time to come spray our home. He was very knowledgeable about different ways to eliminate pests and was extremely friendly. Our home is small, so it only took about half an hour for a spray. If anyone is in need of a professional and quality pest control company, please use these guys! I look forward to working with them on the future.

Lance from MayDay Pest Control is awesome. My parents purchased a large property that had been empty for 2 years. Lance came out (on time as always) inspected the entire house and property and then got to work. He sprayed for bugs, set up traps, and put down granules. He was there for hours. He's honest, hard working and I highly recommend him.

We have been using Mayday Pest Control for two years and could not be happier with the service. Lance and his team are quick to respond both in communication and on-site, and they offer great deals for his clients. Although they primarily operate in Holly Springs we are lucky to be using the services in downtown Raleigh and plan to use them indefinitely! 10/10 would recommend to family, friends and anyone alike!

Lance has been servicing our house for a little over a year now and we could not be happier! His pricing is very reasonable, he explains what he's doing and what chemicals he uses and the best part. I haven't seen a spider in my house in over a year! He's just the best there is! My sister and cousin use Mayday as well Highly recommend!

I love how they call first to make sure we are okay with the time they are coming for quarterly service. i never have to call them unless i need service in-between my quarterly visits. They do the crawl space, garage, inside and out and the eaves as well as the lawn. We use them for mosquito control as well. Been using them a couple years and have been very happy!
