Odoms is a great business! They were extremely accommodating fitting me in last minute so I didn't have to push closing on my house. Communication and service was quick and definitely could tell they really cared and wanted to help. Service: Termite extermination

Sprayed our house for fleas, overall service was fine. Only issue was it wasn't clear to us in person how long it would take to kill the fleas, apparently that's a 3 week process. We were told we could live in the house if we vacuumed daily.well that's a stretch. We were also told only after calling back that the fleas are actually far more aggressive after being sprayed as they are highly agitated.

I'm sure the service is fine, definitely have some work to do in the communication department. Disclaimer, some of this may have been communicated to our landlord who set up the process. But I was there in person and asked some questions about how things worked, there were things I didn't know to ask and for me significant things left out of the communication.

I can't rate the actual service because I never got past the initial phone call. The person answering the phone made it clear that Odem's is not high on friendliness or service. I asked for a ball park figure for termite treatment and was told $500-$1700+ but she really couldn't say because she didn't know the size of my house - she didn't ask either.

I asked if they had weekend or evening hours and was told, "no, [they] have responsibilities like coaching and [they] don't have to work those hours." I asked what was the latest an appt would be scheduled and she hemmed and hawed. Finally she said maybe 4pm, but it would depend.and never 5pm. She also added that they don't work on commission like other places; that's why those places were desperate for evening and weekend jobs.

She stressed again that they have other commitments and are not on commission. Then she said I may want to try one of the other places. For the entire call she behaved as though I was bothering her and ruining her day. Believe me, I will call somebody else and I will spread the word! UPDATE DUE TO OWNERS RESPONSE. You claim to be disappointed because you could not meet the after hour requests, yet you did not seem to note the reason for the review.friendliness and "customer" service. 1. Snarky response when I requested a ballpark figure without asking the sq footage of my residence.

Do you ask questions when you go to the doctor?.to an auto mechanic? People ask question when the service is out the their own wheelhouse. 2. I asked about the hours. I did not look your company up online and I feel it rude to direct somebody ask to your website. 3. Even though you did not have the hours I preferred, I continued trying to get information so I may adjust my schedule to accommodate your office hours, but again, I was met with rude and snarky responses. Ultimately, it was the repetitive comments about not having to be desperate enough to work on commission by your phone representative that was the final straw.

For a man that preached so much about donating time and wanting his employees to spend time with their families, it's not very appealing to put down those that work on commission, evenings or weekends to support their families, put food on the table and pay the bills. In addition, people who donate time, money, etc. do not usually advertise it an make a public display.

It would have been more honorable of you to take the hit and address the issues with your staff, except.the person who answered the phone is your wife from what I have been told by those that have run into the same issue as I did.

We always love to see Jimmy! We trust him and even during COVID feel safe inviting him into our home as he takes every appropriate measure to maintain distance, wear a mask, etc. Odom's is the only home service company we are inviting into our home at this time (and its not because we are that afraid of bugs! haha), we trust them!

Odom's have provided preventatve terrmite services for my house for over 10 years. I am currently having a vole problem so I called Odoms and they came out immediately to help solve my problem.

I have been a customer of Odom's Bugs B Gone for 20+ years. I have used their service plans off and on throughout the years as I would move to new homes. I have just called for a spray when I see too many bugs, and one of my homes had to be treated for termites. The Odom's have been great throughout the years. Jimmy Odom is typically the one who comes out to treat my house.

He is always professional, courteous and most important he shows up when he is scheduled. The thing I like best about Jimmy is he will not sell products or treatments that don't work or are not needed. Tracie Odom is always nice and polite when I call in to schedule service. I like the fact they are a family owned and operated small business.

We get a lot of bugs coming from the horse ranch behind us. Odom's responds quickly, and have followed up with us to make sure they had taken care of the problem. Love using a locally owned business whenever I can.

If you need pest control, indoor or out - this is the place to go! The owner is seriously one of the most honest, hard working and genuine person I've ever met. He's truly concerned about your issue and will do everything to rid you of whatever needs "gettin' gone". He also is no scam man - honest and reasonable prices! The best in KC - and a local business!

So I needed a change. I called Odom and they were very responsive to my needs in May 2014,. I asked to be set up on a full service pest control quarterly program. ($55 per quarter inside and out.) I also needed a lawn care program. I was told that I would need to speak to the service person when he came out for the lawn care. Service person came out performed pest control inside and outside.

I discussed lawn care with service person Jimmy Odom. He said that it would cost approx $55 but he would have a lawn care person come out to take care of service. With first timer costs incurred, our first treatment cost us $212.11. One month went by and no weed control or contact from Odom. So first part of July I called and spoke with a family member of the ownership.

I explained that no weed control person came out and that I was still having ants. She said there would be an additional charge since we weren't a regular customer. I explained that I asked to be set up on a quarterly program on my initial program set up. She said we weren't. She explained that they would send someone out and set us up on a quarterly program and that the service person could help with the lawn treatment.

Neither were done. So we scheduled for a retreat. Next service person James Foust came out on 7/15/2014 and said that we were going to be set up on a quarterly program that it was close to quarterly time so let's do this treatment as a quarterly treatment. My wife agreed and explained that we were also needing to set up lawn care. Service person told my wife that he would have someone come out for lawn treatment and it would cost approx $55.

My wife said that would be fine. We were then charge the fee quoated at $55 but they added a gas travel surchage of $4.00 plus tax for a total of $64.18. So in 2 months I have spent $276.29. I still have ants and NO pest control person has ever contacted us for additional services. You can figure this out that service is not the top priority of Odom's Bugs-B-Gone our of Belton MO. I was also unaware of $4.00 surchage. I still need a change.
