Willards Pest Control

I used Willard's for a job of trenching along the side of our house, putting down wire and covering w gravel to keep rats from coming into our house. The charge was $350 an hour for 2 workers. We had a contract for 6 hours or less. I was charged $700 for travel time on a 5 hour job. Travel time was not stipulated in the contract. Because of charging my credit card without my authorization on a previous job I emailed beforehand and asked them to wait for my authorization before charging. They charged me anyway. Emails to manage the have not been answered. Needless to say, I will not be using them again. Any recommendation?

I am an HOA manager who uses Willard's but I also use them at my own home. Zach is a fantastic tech who always shows up on time and does a great job to our home. I never write reviews. but I feel obligated in this case. They charged me $270, delivered nothing, did nothing, and when I disputed the charge, they started harassing me with invoices. I originally called Willard's to come help get rid of a rotting animal smell in the crawl space. The GM told me it was likely a dead raccoon and asked me to pay $270 animal removal fee. which, at the time I thought was worth it.

They came out, inspected, found no raccoon, left, and kept my $270. When I called them to discuss, they changed their story and said it was a $270 inspection fee. I disputed the credit card charge and now they are filling my email inbox with invoices and threatening to add finance charges. To date, I have never received the services they promised, never received a quote to do anything else, never received the pictures they said they took, yet they think I owe them $270. Ultimately, I spent $4000 with another company to completely gut the crawl space. I wrote a nice review for them. Willard's, if you are reading this, don't bother sending me any invoices. they will never be paid.

Save you some time as most places aren't licensed to catch a a squirrel. They charge $300 just to show up. And $150 for each one they catch. Gotta love Washington INFLATION.

Willard's was professional, responsible, on time, personal, and extremely customer oriented. The technician, Sebring was very knowledgeable, passionate and compassionate about wildlife. I highly recommend this company.

When I bought my home in 2013, in addition to sealing off all ingress locations, they did a remove and restore of my attic insulation due to an infestation. 9 years later when I was repairing some ducting, I noticed a hard to reach area that was bare over my kitchen. I contacted them and they took care of it, as I'm typing. Kudos to you guys.

The tecnian made me feel that my issue was their foremost concern. I felt a valued customer. The technician was very professional and straight forward. He secured the areas where the rodents could enter the crawlspace and congregate. Also, he went into the crawlspace three times to ensure there were no survivers, and the areas were rodent free. Thanks Willard's for having such great emplooyees!

From the first phone call to the completion of the services Willard's provided excellent service and at a reasonable price. Mark was efficient, professional, knowledgeable and very conscious of needing to follow Covid precautions. I'd hire them for any pest problem. Service: Rodent extermination

I had a great experience with Mark from Willard's Pest Control. Mark was super knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I had a bee hive (yellow jackets, inactive) in a tree in my front yard, and Mark was able to quickly remove it. He also did a thorough inspection of my garage and crawl space when requested, and was detailed in his findings and suggestions. Also, the cost for the inspection and bee hive removal was less than just the cost of the hive removal I was quoted by a competitor! Had a great experience, will use Willard's again if needed in the future.

A couple of weeks ago we saw what looked like rat droppings in our basement corner. It was a first time we had seen those but we assumed finally rats had gotten in. Willards was recommended by our neighbor who has used them for years. I was able to have them come out in a week. The pest inspector was professional, on time and super honest. He examined the droppings and determined that they were in fact fly larvae.

It all clicked. We had a fly infestation right around the time we saw what we assumed were droppings. After spraying the flies were completely gone but the dead larvae remained on the floor. We had left them for the inspector to be able to trace. Honesty and professionalism and a neighbors referral is the reason for this 5-star review.

We have had a terrible experience with this company! We called up and asked for / thought we were getting a free inspection, to determine what actions to take. The guy showed up, walked around on our roof apparently, didn't say he was here. and then they charged us $150 that they had NOT told us about. After we complained, they threatened to hurt our credit rating if we didn't pay! - our experience is that they didn't do any work, but blackmailed us.

Horrible customer service. They didn't do what they said they would and talking to their supervisors didn't help. All I ask is do what you say. I gave them several opportunities to make it right and they felt short each time!

Very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. They took their time to explain the process and answer any questions we had. Very pleasant experience.

Used them for our new home we just purchased for spider treatment but we saw spider web and huge number of spiders everywhere and ended up doing the treatment ourselves that was way more effective compared with this 275 dollar work. Asked specifically what they did but the answer was "We cleaned up the web and applied the product. We never do backyard. Please pay" Highly recommend avoiding them for spider treatment.

We had a giant yellow jacket nest in our wall void, with numerous yellow jackets invading our bedroom. We have small kids and they were freaking out. A Willards technician came and treated the nest within an hour of our frantic call for help. The entire large nest was dead within a day. Highly recommend!

Terrible service.i requested a quote for services and received a bill for $400.00 before any services were even performed. i was never informed of a bill that i would be given for just asking for the estimate. i asked for the report for services i requested & i haven't received it yet, that was two months ago. Compared the other reviews i am not the only one with this same exact problem. i WAS a loyal customer for over 12 years. NO MORE.

We just had a visit from Williard's Pest Control. The technician was completely unprepared and I felt like I had to observe the entire procedure. He arrived without any protective equipment. Not even a mask. He asked about the wasps and the problem areas, which I explained in detail. The wasps were only now and have only ever been a problem at the junction between the fascia and the brick on the front peaked roof area above the front door and the same junction in the area around the upstairs balcony.

The technician then proceeded to walk around the perimeter of the house spraying wildly (without a ladder or extended spraying wand) all over the fascia in EVERY area that there has NEVER been a wasp. He even sprayed around a bird house that is currently home to baby birds, endangering their lives. He completely failed to ever retrieve a ladder or spray in ANY of the areas that I had mentioned.

Not one. I very clearly pointed them out and asked for confirmation. On top of ALL this, he was also about to spray the ground to kill the ants that don't exist before I stopped him and asked him not to do so. This was a horrifying experience and now the house is totally covered in poison that is only endangering the lives of everyone and everything EXCEPT wasps. I feel concern for the technician, too, since he did all of this without any protective equipment and skin showing everywhere. We still need help with the wasps.

I will never use them again. How many times can they call me after they were supposed to arrive to cancel before I finally give up. Don't waste your time like they wasted mine.

It has been absolute hell working with the administration of this office! The young woman who works in the office is SO PROFOUNDLY TERRIBLE at taking instruction and relaying it that appointments were not set up properly, work was not preformed as requested, and service was not stopped as requested. The request for service to be stopped resulted in service being performed on a house that we no longer lived in.

I REPEATEDLY, REPEATEDLY, REPEATEDLY contacted the office to have the final service fee voided because of this error on the part of their staff and it has NOT been taken care of ONE YEAR+ after service! The apathetic response is SO irritating and EXHAUSTING! I can't recommend this nightmare of a business to anyone which is sad because the techs are actually fantastic!

We called Willard's Pest Control on a Friday afternoon, after discovering a yellow jacket underground nest. They were able to come Saturday morning. The technician observed the area, located the site of the yellow jacket underground nest, suited up, and sprayed. He was extremely knowledgeable, and careful of our surrounding plants and vegetable beds. He was professional, experienced, courteous, and thorough.

Warning to anyone who may need a report for a real estate transaction, they won't mention it when you call them, they will come out and do the inspection, and then when you get your invoice as proof to a lender, buyer, etc, something like this is what you'll get on your invoice "A visual inspection done on 5/2/19 was limited to the exterior area of the home per pictures sent to our office.

No wood destroying organisms were noted in this area at time of inspection. This is/was not a WDO Inspection of the home. Willard's Pest Control does not perform real estate transaction inspections as noted on the original phone call to our office. This invoice does not take the place of nor substitute for a WDO Inspection report." They should tell you when they make the appointment that they don't do WDO inspections instead of making the appointment and then giving you a worthless report.

It doesn't make sense that their "report" says that they don't do WDO inspections, but they come out and do a WDO inspection. When I contacted them about it, the manager was very belligerent and said that all Realtors complain about the language on their "report" Perhaps they shouldn't mislead the Realtors. Update, As you can see from the owner's response, he truly is belligerent and makes no effort to resolve the situation.

I did hire them and I have the cancelled check and their invoice to prove it. The invoice clearly says that they inspected for WDO and makes no mention of rodents. I would be happy to send a copy of the invoice to anyone who may doubt my word.

Their mouse service covers more than what I needed, so in order to lower my costs they very helpfully explained what I should to do to take care of my problem myself

Bee's nest. Bees in the rec room over the garage. Lots. Wife was freaking- it's where our 2 year old plays. Wife demanded immediate eradication. Other company said "Sorry, booked til Monday, " and that guy is my friend. Willard's said "2 hours." Sure enough, their man shows up less than 2 hours after I hang up the phone, clean rig, clean cut, polite, explains everything clearly, locates the nest in a tough spot up high in between siding and drywall, uses light insecticide, seals the tiny hole where they accessed, and all bees dead and gone in a couple days. PS- 15% less than my friend, despite the short notice. Willard's rocks.

Don't use this service. They are charging me for a visit I never received. I called their service department who assured me they don't make mistakes! Sent me a bill for over $400! Run, don't walk away from this company!

I am joining the list of "customers" who feel ripped off by this company. Willard's takes advantage of Seattle mandatory rodent control prior to demolition. They suggest that their service is needed far sooner than it really is. Their contract requires that they take your credit card number, so they just charge it monthly and send an invoice that shows $0.00 due. (Nothing is due because they charge your credit card) I complained and Courtney just responded "you signed the contract!" Unfortunately, I did, because I was misled about the local rodent control requirement. Other pest control businesses don't milk their customers like this. Go elsewhere

Rick and the team from Willard's Pest Control did a phenomenal job removing and replacing the insulating material in our attic, while treating the area for potential pest penetration points. The company's services are very competitively priced, and their work is just as good (if not better) than pricier companies we researched before choosing them. Stay away from this company! What a rip off! I called them after being referred by someone so I didn't read the reviews first, wish I had. They charged me for the inspection then I kept calling for a quote, days later I received the first part of my quote after Courtney in the office sent it to me she said she would get the rest after talking to Chris the one who did the inspection. Needless to say I never heard a thing.

I called days later again for a refund for my inspection since there was no follow up and then Scott DeLand the manager started emailing me insisting they did send me a quote. Anyway I've decided not to put my energy into them anymore and they can keep the money and bad karma. But they do awful business and I hope this review prevents this from happening to someone else!
