We are a locally owned & Family Operated Company. Burt Holmes & Steve Spear Founded Environmental Pest Control Inc. in 1989. In 2009 the business expanded to include full insulation service. In 2011 Steve Spear decided it was time to retire at that time Jeff & Rod Holmes had the opportunity to become co-owners with their father, Burt Holmes.

I am the founder of Environmental Pest Control and Insulation. I have enjoyed watching the industry grow and evolve over the 50 years I've been a pest control operator. I grew up here in Bellingham and graduated from Bellingham High School then went on to serve in the United States Air Force. I married my wife Lois in 1964 and raised our two boys here in Whatcom County.

We are active members of local and nationwide associations which allows us the resources to stay current on the newest and most effective pest control treatments available.
