The chemical treatment lasts approximately 3 months depending on weather and environmental conditions. No, once the chemical is dry it adheres to the exterior of the home and will not be washed off. It only takes about 10-15 minutes for the chemical to dry. We would ask for pets to be kenneled or removed from the home for about 1 hour so they don't lay or walk-in treated areas.
