Services
Termite Control
We specialize in comprehensive termite control solutions, including soil treatments, Bora-Care pre-treatments, and post-construction interventions. Our methods target subterranean termites using EPA-registered products like Termidor and Talstar One, ensuring long-term protection. With over 40 years of experience, we offer warranties and repair guarantees for both residential and commercial properties.
Bed Bug Treatment
Our bed bug treatment services utilize heat treatments and liquid insecticides, effectively eliminating infestations in all life stages. Trained technicians deploy portable heaters to reach lethal temperatures for bugs and eggs. We also apply EPA-registered materials like Temprid and Phantom, ensuring safe and thorough eradication while preserving property integrity.
Pest Control
We provide customized pest control services for homes and businesses, targeting common pests like roaches, spiders, ants, and silverfish. Our approach includes monthly to annual treatment plans and perimeter defenses. Using Integrated Pest Management, we rotate products to prevent resistance, ensuring sustained effectiveness for both residential and commercial clients.
Moisture Management
Our moisture management services address humidity-related issues in crawl spaces, preventing mold and wood decay. We seal vents, install drainage systems, and use dehumidifiers to maintain humidity below 65%. This service protects properties from structural damage and improves indoor air quality, particularly in coastal regions with high moisture levels.
Crawl Space Treatment
Crawl space treatments include moisture control, mold remediation, and termite barriers. We install vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, and drainage systems while treating wooden structures with Bora-Care. These interventions prevent pest infestations, fungal growth, and structural decay, enhancing property longevity and occupant health.

Cut a water line coming into my house and a water line inside. When it happened the plumber they brought in to fix it did terrible work and we have been stuck with problems ever since. My annual inspection is up for renewal and now no one will return our calls to even schedule that. That I'm I'm even sure it's a good idea at this point. Stay away!

Was a loyal customer for many years but when we couldn't get back to our seasonal home in 2021 due to Covid, they cancelled our yearly service. However, they would be happy to start it again for an additional $1200+. So much for caring about loyal customers. We won't be using them again.

We've been using Strand since our house was built in 2004. They are excellent in quality, attentive in service, and always allow us to have confidence in their work. When we needed extra attention or special treatments, they never let us down. I can easily recommend them with confidence.

I remember my mother always being pleased with the customer service and cost of annual pest control from Strand. and that was many years ago. During my professional career I've had the opportunity to do business with several pest control agencies. It doesn't take long to find out who you can trust to stand behind their business mission statement. As soon as Scott went to work for Strand Pest Control I followed. It has been my experience both professionally and personally this company not only does what they tell you but goes above and beyond.

Strand technician arrived on time and did his usual thorough inspection. He wore (virus) protective gear and was very friendly and professional. We have been with Stand since we bought our house 5 years ago and have been very satisified.
