Services
Mosquito Control
Our comprehensive mosquito control program utilizes integrated pest management techniques including surveillance, larval treatment, and adult mosquito spraying. We employ biological controls like mosquitofish and microbial agents to target different life stages. Our state-certified technicians monitor mosquito populations across 26 zones to implement targeted interventions that reduce disease transmission risks while minimizing environmental impact.
Vector Surveillance
We conduct ongoing surveillance of mosquitoes and other vectors through trap networks and laboratory analysis to detect disease activity. Our entomology lab identifies mosquito species and tests for pathogens like West Nile virus. This data informs our control strategies and helps predict outbreak risks, enabling proactive measures to protect public health in both urban and agricultural areas.
Educational Programs
Our public education initiatives include classroom presentations, community workshops, and informational materials about mosquito prevention. We teach residents about the seven D's of mosquito prevention and provide resources in multiple languages. Our outreach team works with schools, neighborhood associations, and professional groups to promote community participation in vector control efforts.
Emergency Response
We provide 24/7 emergency response for urgent vector threats including neglected pool reports and yellowjacket nest removal. Our technicians respond to service requests for immediate treatment of breeding sites and implement rapid control measures during disease outbreaks. Emergency spraying operations are conducted when public health risks require immediate intervention.
Biological Control
Our biological control program utilizes natural predators and microbial agents to target mosquito populations. We distribute mosquitofish (Gambusia affinis) for water source treatment and employ bacterial larvicides that specifically target mosquito larvae. These environmentally-friendly methods provide sustainable control while preserving beneficial insect populations and maintaining ecological balance.

I used to have a koi pond when living in Elk Grove, and they were fantastic! My ex-husband (who passed recently), unfortunately, could not keep up with maintaining the pool. His overall health (brain cancer) deteriorated quickly.so I've been managing all of the upkeep of the inside and outside of the house. We received the pool inspection notice, a few weeks ago. Fortunately, I had a great pool service drain and clean the pool last week.
I love the correspondence where you can actually text and take a pic of the pool. The staff-Kevin is very efficient with replying back and updating our account. Don't hesitate to email or call them before the mosquito season starts! Thanks for providing great customer service!

I'm so grateful for this vector control agency. They are located on Bond, next to Laguna Creek. When the gold fish got fished out of our pond in the back yard, I called them and they brought to my house, mosquito fish to populate the ponds for free!

Why 5 stars? I was very appreciative that Kevin arrived when he said he would, gave me the information I needed and promptly treated the mosquito issue. As I informed other neighbors to complete a service request, he also took care of their properties. I appreciate Kevin's professionalism as well and the County of Sacramento for providing this much needed service!
