Quarterly Pest Control

Our Quarterly Pest Control Program protects homes year-round using Integrated Pest Management techniques. Initial inspections identify existing infestations, followed by exterior barrier treatments to prevent re-entry. Quarterly visits maintain protection against ants, roaches, stink bugs, and spiders while minimizing environmental impact. The program includes free return visits if pests reappear between scheduled treatments.

Termite Protection

Mares Exterminating offers comprehensive termite protection with annual inspections and retreatment guarantees. Our master technicians use advanced detection methods to identify vulnerabilities and treat infestations. The Termite Retreat Warranty covers free retreatments if termites return, providing long-term structural protection for properties in coastal Virginia.

Mosquito Control

Professional mosquito control services reduce populations through larviciding and misting treatments every 60 days. Our technicians target breeding areas and resting spots using environmentally responsible methods. This seasonal program (April-September) creates protective barriers around properties, allowing outdoor enjoyment without chemical traps or dunks.

Moisture Control

Moisture control services prevent structural damage through vapor barrier installation and dehumidifier systems. We address crawl space issues with flood vents, sealed doors, and insulation removal. These solutions protect against wood rot, mold growth, and pest infestations while improving indoor air quality in Virginia homes.

Emergency Pest Service

24/7 emergency pest control addresses urgent infestations with immediate response times. Our technicians handle critical situations like termite discoveries or severe roach infestations. Same-day service guarantees prompt resolution while maintaining the same high standards of eco-friendly treatment protocols.

We have always had positive experiences with Mares Exterminating and are always pleased with their work. In addition, we are very impressed with their staff! We enjoyed having Leo come out to the house to treat for pests. He was fantastic and had an amazing personality! We will miss him and wish him well as he continues to serve. Josh is now covering Leo's route in this area. He is amazing as well!

Very friendly and personable. Josh was on time, thorough, and professional. It's always difficult when you get used to one tech and then there are staffing changes. Josh made the transition easy. Mares has fantastic folks working there! Keep up the great job

Absolutely wonderful company. I've trusted them for three years with my home and haven't had any complaints. Mare's carries my pests as well as the termite protection. Every employee that enters the house is pleasant, polite, and professional. Office staff are cordial and do try to fit everything in. No questions if you ask for a second spray. Local company that is from the area. I love that the calls go to an actual person rather than a call center somewhere else. No random rate hikes, just a quality service.

When we bought our house in 2016, Mares Exterminating performed the Moisture and Termite report for our house and found no issues. Now, in 2021, when we go to sell out house, there are multiple expensive issues that we are told were present when we bought the house. This company just completely lied or didn't do their job and completely screwed us over. DON'T USE THEM.
